I had to paint in his eyes. Maki had glowing red demon eyes that my software wouldn't fix. So, here he is. He is not impressed with the things he has to endure just for Turkey. He was good about it though and he is all dry now and super soft and fuzzy.

Aki has been having issues with the feline monsters lately. They are taking his beds and look out posts right out from under his paws. He chased Chloe' all around the living room the other day for the fact that she slept on his pillow with him for two hours before he noticed. He was not impressed at all and totally unwilling to share it with her. baaaaa I fussed at him but he would not have it no matter what I said about sharing with your sissy and so on.

Then, he is enjoying his look out point on top of the couch when he is invaded by Vinny. Vinny likes to follow the squirrels around the house by hopping in each window until he can no longer find them.

Chloe' is in the hospital. I won't get to see her until tomorrow. Sniff....:( She has never been away from home at night. Vinny keeps looking for her. The whole thing is making me feel ill.

She isn't able to pee, the walls of her bladder are really thick. They kept her over night to try to get a sample from her but she was not able to make any pee for them. In the mean time she threw her cat box litter out of the cage. Then, she dumped the cat litter box on its side. She tossed her food all over the floor from her cage and she dumped her water over and out of the cage. She wasn't having it. Then when she finally did have to pee she just went on herself. She is passing blood. She was so upset having to be there she thew a royal hissy fit. They have given her a shot, but she is still not eating much or peeing much at all. I am so concerned.

When I went to pick her up she told me all her horror abuse stories on the way home about as loud as she could. They poked her, they touched her, they were ugly, they were mean, it was awful, there were other cats she had to look at, there were loud dogs, there were no blankets. Just this long list. She developed a runny nose and sneezy sniffles at the vet. So, I have been giving her some of Vinny's Enisyl-F Lysine and she is much better with the sniffles today.

She has had her bath and is smelling much better. She won't play with Vinny. He is depressed.

She is still not peeing much though. Hopefully the shot will kick in soon. I am so stressed out at this point. I am just so worried we will lose her. They can't tell me why she has this. One day she was fine and the next she was like this. She is up more today and looks less stressed. This caused me a major RA flare. I could not walk by last night. My left knee was all messed up. My arms and fingers were numb and I am still having problems with them. My neck hurts, my back hurts. Honestly, I just need a break. I cried all the way home leaving her at that vet. I knew, just knew it would be like visiting hell and it sure was for her everything I expected.

I have company so, I can't do much else at the moment. Besides pulling all my hair out...screaming sounds fun.

Omg :( poor Chloe. This is awfull situation when you don't know how to help. I hope she and you too feel better soon!
 
Chloe' is still not really able to pee much even after her shot. Its super hard going through something of this magnitude with a cat that isn't even 2 yet. She is gaining weight (not eating near as much food) and not eliminating much at all. That has happened to me before with a cat. The outcome was not good. We are very upset. I will be calling the vet tomorrow. We also have her by herself in a room so we can really see if she is going at all. Either her kidney's are not working or her bladder is obstructed. I just can't imagine which but the weight gain makes me think kidney.
 
I am sitting in the er again with Chloe. Booooo, poor baby. I guess when this is all over she is gonna know mamma loves her too. Welcome the debt of 2016. Where is that money tree?


Update: The er visit lasted 6 hours. She has had loads of tests and now has new meds. She has a pain pill and a new antibiotic. She also came home with the cutest little elastic on her leg covered with pictures of little white lambs. It was green with lambs all over it. I have saved it. I know weird right? It was so cute on her leg where they gave her the iv's.

The good news is her liver and kidneys are fine. Her bladder...well not so much. Her mood....well, not so much. Does she like taking her medication: nope.

I am worn out.

I'm glad her liver and kidneys are fine. I hope the new meds help and she feels up to her usual antics soon. I don't think it's weird to save something cute that you like. Gotta have some nice thing--even if it is a very small thing-- from all this trouble right?

Cats are awful pill takers. None of my 3 will eat Pill Pockets or eat food (even tuna!) the pill has been crushed into. Mine love to act like they've swallowed and then spit it out. I'm glad you have someone to help hold her.
