The Vinny and Chloe' Chronicles

Here are Vinny 10 months and Chloe' 11 months

Vinny is gray Russian Blue sort of, Chloe' is a calico/tortishell mix of a bunch of weird cat stuff.

I have decided to take photos of what Vinny and Chloe' do to my toy collections. Everyday I find issues. This morning, I found this. Pony thrown from Butterfly Island. Then I saw Vinny playing with a doll sock. Its going to be one of those days. Feel free to add your pet naughty photos. With my cats alone this will be a long thread.

Pony thrown down on container from Butterfly Island. I believe this was done by Chloe'. She hates/loves who knows... my Butterfly Island and tears it up each day.

Original location: Front and center.
@evilbunnyfoofoo I have started this at your suggestion. It will be fun. Lets see what evil I discover each day.

Naughty cats? Who could believe such a thing? All my cats are saints, honest!
ROFLOL I actually had a wonderful persian that hardly caused me any trouble. The only thing he did that was a problem was try to take things out of my hands when I was doing projects. He was a very good boy. These two. They are circus clowns.

Since we have so many at the sanctuary, we have quite a few troublemakers and some that are pretty decent. Unfortunately the trouble makers out number us.

I think it makes me a crazy cat lady. There's usually at least 40 cats here at any one time. Some stay, some are adoptable. Two stay inside because they are special They are the WORST.

Such gorgeous kitties! 10 and 11 months? Yeah, that would be part of the problem. Give them a few years and they should calm down. My Tanger was a little hellion when he was young (naughty, but not in mean way, just a mischief-maker). He calmed down a lot after he turned two.

@Star_Flare Oh thank you so much for giving me hope that I might actually get my sanity back. LOL You have really helped. Will I survive another year like this? I have no feline idea.
I can give you some cat training tips if you'd like that might work with your Terrible Two (j/k).

Oh no, I have been working with them, but I have a disability and I just don't have the strength to follow them around making them behave lol. I use to do stuff like that, the whole play with the kitty thing until they are tired. I even tried the air blow things. They don't care. Noise doesn't work either. Treats don't work. They are just a pair of clowns. My biggest problem is I need to scale back on all my stuff. There is too much in the house. It will help to clear things out. I will have to hire help I guess. My biggest success is keeping them both off the dining room table. That rule they follow. Its the only one though. They are good about their boxes too.

I've found my most valuable resource in training kitties is a squirt bottle. You can attack them from afar, and they usually learn really quick that some areas are forbidden and will earn them a squirty squirt if they start to fiddle with it.

Plus it is fun. Squirt!

(Once this method failed because Dodge loved squirty squirt! Right in his face! He would bite at the water, which was pretty awesome all in itself. He got adopted out though, so somewhere I hope he's still biting water. Squirt! Right in the puddy tat's cute widdle face!)

Yea that is how I keep them off the table and out of the tv area. It also worked with the Christmas tree. It doesn't work on the dog. He just looks at me like, why would you do that? And on purpose too, you big meanie. Lol chloe likes water though, she swims in the bathtub water daily. Its really hard to get a private bath and if you do, she jumps in after you leave it. She is just plain wacko that cat.

Aww, what cute Kittie- *reads what happened* oh.

Hmmm..... Maybe you give them too much catnip. It's like cat drugs. Only not drugs XD
Chloe could care less about catnip, but Vinny loves the stuff. He has a catnip sock he likes to sleep with sometimes. Don't know what thats about. I don't ask questions.

Yes this is totally me @Star_Flare , I find that all the weirdness is actually what makes cats fun. If you train them so much that they are miss princess's sitting at the table eating out of a crystal dish you lose all that funny stuff. I really do like a certain amount of zippetydooda in my feline friends. Its like Chloe' with the box upstairs. She has been trying for weeks to break into the box. Finally I got sick and tired of her doing that. So, I took everything out of the box and gave her that silly box. Oh well, that was not okay with her. Half the fun was stealing, eating, chewing up and mangling the contents. It took her 2 whole days to be willing to play with the empty box. Now its great fun. She was seriously disappointed in me, but I am not going to let her play with sewing needles and straight pins just because she thinks owns the place.

My father had a saying that I believe to be very true: Everything in the house belongs to the cats, we're just allowed to use it. When they're under a year old, it's my firm belief kitties have nothing but fluff between their ears. The brain starts to grow in after they're a year old but doesn't push all the fluff out until they're at least two. :D

Yesterday I watched my special education catten (she is at the pupae stage of catdom, not a cat, not a kitten) Magical Mouth Melvin as she fought an invisible foe, sliding and leaping over the floor like a possessed dishrag. During her acrobatics, she smashed into the coffee table, turned and struck it for having dared attack her then backflipped backwards to resume her silent, deadly kung fu war with the unseen pixie.

Her life is very exciting. She was so drained she barely had the strength to get into her fort for a nap with her dog.

roflol this is so funny and so true. I just knew it was Pixies. I just knew it. Now if only that would explain the madness of a chicken running to beat 60, nothing ahead...nothing behind just one mad dashing clicky clucky with a blank stare and feet flying in the air all for a pixie rooster I guess. Chloe decided to chase a pixie on the stairs once. She flipped over the edge. She was falling a great distance, when in slow motion she assesses she is going to hit a table so, she does a Matrix move and somehow throws her body over to the left to land on a pillow(all in about 2 seconds time frame). She walks off shaking her tail feeling like Lara Croft. Couldn't touch her. Nope.

oh and Vinny hit the dog a few days ago because I was giving the dog some attention and it made him mad. Then I called the cats for treats and the dog was following them. Vinny hit the dog on the head as if to say, "she isn't calling you its my treat." I was laughing so hard I thought I'd die at the look on my dogs face. "What gives geez."
