So I'm loving this challenge!! :bat465:
I knew instantly I wanted to do an older horror film. I looked at Hammer Films' posters and debated on a couple others before I settled on
The Attack of the 50ft Woman. It's such an awesome movie and poster! but so challenging and intricate at the same time. I was immediately struck with inspiration and I have my set and ponies almost ready (I couldn't go to bed last night till I worked on it)!!! :bat1:
mwahahahahah :bat:

Cute title for this challenge!

I'm excited about this as well. Its always fun to try and re-create something! I totally have a fog machine and now I can put it to good use!!

Any other John Carpenter fans out there? He's the director of the movie poster I'm doing.

I'm getting major sneaky points for my poster. Thats all I'm saying.

ah i changed mine and i feel MUCH better. i was worried about my first one because there were so many little horses, i don't think i have enough ponies!

Wolfchick - open it please! I have finished my poster!!! lol. It was so much fun I had to do it right away. (also, I have a detail pic I can link - not post- that shows that I am indeed using petite ponies (as they are very tiny in the pic - just like the people in the real poster). is it ok for me to link to that pic for the judges sake?

I'm ready to post mine as well :D

Attack of the 50 foot FF! I love it!!! Great job, Roogna!

Bestinthewest that is crazy that you have a fog machine!!! I wish that I could borrow it! I think getting the fog in my photo might be the hardest part!

Dancing Butterfly; "This is really hard to read"
All your text is hilarious
Great attention to detail :D

Wow everyone is so creative! I love the entries so far!

Roogna- Frilly worked perfectly as the 50ft woman and I never would have thought to use petites!!

Babyblueducky- That's a really good shot! You have the lighting perfect!

DancingButterflies- I was wondering how you were going to do that pose! The Ballerina ponies worked so good! And I like all the creative text put in ;)

I struggled a little with this one trying to come up with an idea. Hopefully it turned out alright. And yes, Chief does have make up on! ;)

Those emtries are totally fabulous everyone! I'm so impressed!

OH MY GOODNESS! These are sooo awesome! I cant wait to see the rest of the entries!! You guys are sooo creative!! :)

I -love- the one using the ballerina ponies! It made me crack up XD

Thanks! Hubby picked up the ballerinas in a yard sale lot for me the other day, and I kinda put them on the same level as BBEs as to their value (sorry Dragonlady!), so I figured they were great ponies to stuff in a bunch of dead leaves and put in a tortured pose. I actually had to tape the bodies together to get them to balance right on my "stage"

Oh it's AWESOME! I love the heels, and somehow Chief's blonde highlight poking out just screams his orientation. Or maybe that's just my interpretation lol It's such a great movie/play/whatever.

Speaking of orientation...
Lyricalstar - I guess it's because they are both very pink, girly ponies, and the male in the original poster is kind of feminine looking, but I swear Sweetberry looks like she's got a little Brokeback Mountain thing going on. Still, very cute!

Julie18 - I have no idea how you did that. You rock. I'm picturing delimbed baity G3's. You even got the crack in the wall. Core 7....I'm still chuckling.

Omby - I feel the fear in whatever poor pony that use to be. The eye is perfection! Let the slay ride begin!

Ohmygosh! What a daunting challenge! Even more-so after seeing the ones that are already posted!

I felt like a serial killer, while I was tearing apart my pony. Yes, all 4 limbs were cut off and hot glued on in resemblance to the original poster.
I have photos of the pony massacre, I'll post in Outtakes after the challenge.

Ombyshadow; The expression on the ponies face, is the greatest thing ever. :hysterical:
