And WOW, what a year it has been for us here at the MLPTP! While the production of Posty was secretly underway, we experimented with MLPTP swag back during the 2023 Fundraiser with the release of die-cut holo glitter Posty stickers that members were able to purchase in exchange for Fundraiser prize giveaway entries:


As you all know, the Fundraiser has been a key element in supporting the heavy financial burden of running the MLPTP, and made possible by members like you! <3

With our Fundraiser goal for 2023 met, we took a little bit of a risk and made MLPTP members' most frequent request into a reality, with the help of HQG1C: a REAL Posty Pony!

With the ever-present support of the mods, I set about learning the production process, creating the limited edition cards (featuring our lovely Posty artwork by Marco Albiero), writing the numbers and sleeving the cards by hand, designing and printing the holo sticker, creating all graphics, and of course, packing and shipping each Posty with care to destinations all around the world. The entire process on my end took several months and an indescribable amount of work, but we could not be happier with the result. <3





I mentioned that Posty has traveled around the world, but... where exactly did she go?



All across the globe, it seems! :shock:

In early November of 2023, MLPTP mod and die-hard Post Mapone creator and fan @Sassarazzmadazzles assembled this beautiful Posty display at the PFF convention in San Antonio, Texas, where attendees could purchase Posty in person, as well as receive an exclusive MLPTP sticker. Thank you, Sassy, for all of your hard work and mailing back and forth with me!


As of now, Posty has completely sold out. I could not be more pleased that we seem to have chosen a production number that enabled so many to be able to own Posty without selling out immediately. The financial security this project helps create for the future of the MLPTP is no small thing, and it will also help us to do more fun things for all of you!

Hmmm.... Fun things.... What would be a fun thing? :blink:

I’d like to enter for a sticker since I missed them the first time around >_<
The TPs been my online home for ages now! I got into collecting ages ago (maybe 10+ years now??), but it was only recently when I came back on my own and started to reshape my collection with the ponies I’ve always wanted (like Denim Blue and Quackers!)
But I do gotta say some of my fondest memories here has to be the ornament swap, and the trades I’ve done before!
I also remember the games TP members would organize every once in a while, like the “Who’s in the Box?” guessing game! Those were always super fun to watch and try! :lolpony:

Aww I'd LOVE a Posty!!:smile: I'm so happy that this was made even if I can't get one! I havnt been on here very long and havnt even been very active (seeing all the ponies I can't afford was too tempting:sadpony:) - but I hope I'll be around more often now! I want to continue seeing everybody's collections and adding to my own.

My favorite memory is definitely last year's card exchange. Giving out all those cards was so exciting - picking out the cards and the stickers and and writing them! But the best part was receiving them! I saved them all and opened them up all together, reading through every one. It's kind of embarrassing, but I actually cried because I felt so liked and seen and accepted - I don't even know if I can express it right with words! But that's a memory I think I'll treasure for years to come. :Posty2:

Though I'm not a very active user, MLPTP is a nice and warm place where I can share my favorite hobby with other pony lovers. I really enjoy reading it, it's always so nice to see someone's new pony finds, customs and art and share knowledge here. I would also like to participate in some holiday swaps in the future, it's so much fun!

Also, you can add Ukraine on a Posty pony map - it was a long trip, but my Posty made it surprisingly quickly :)
 
I'd like to enter for Posty!:Posty2: I joined to MLPTP when I rediscovered again the world of MLP and I started actively collect ponies. There are a lot of fun posts and threads, and I love to see the collections and the funny pictures. Oh and the Pony ID posts. I love investigating :lolpony: Some threads are very informative, for example I never heard of the disintegrating hair syndrome before, and I learnt a lot of hair types, possible reasons etc.
Although I didn't participate in the photo contests (lack of enough free time) I enjoyed the photos of Halloween costumes, Easter bonnets and Pony Elf on the shelf (these two were also new to me, as I looked up they are traditions in the US. I learnt a lot through ponies again!) But sometimes I posted photos because the forum inspired me to take some ponies with me when I go somewhere... why not?
So, that's all for now. I like this friendly community and the place where we can discuss our hobby.

Hmm.... favorite MLPTP moment, oh goodness there are so many! I think probably the best is knowing that I can visit with all of my pony friends here no matter how far away they are.

Ooh I really wanted a posty but couldn't afford X(
I'm still pretty new here but my favorite memory is when I posted one of my paintings and got so many amazing comments, I also love seeing everyone else's art work <3
 
My Posty pony just arrived, but I would like to enter for just a holo sticker if possible; to go with her :Posty2:

I joined the trading post only this past summer but it’s been such a fun place. My favorite parts have been
1. Halloween Photo Hunt. It really got me to interact with my collection and stop being so intent on them being perfect and just have fun with them.
2. The Holiday swaps have really helped keep my spirits high this season and shown just how awesome this community is.
3. Meeting some members from here at the Pony Friends Forever convention was really fun because it made me feel I had some closeness to the community there even though I hadn’t been to an MLP event in 10 years and only recently had gotten back into collecting.
4. Also getting some really fair deals on some ponies I was trying to re-buy to rebuild my collection. Everyone here has been so nice during transactions, too.

One of my most favorite memories of the TP is that i have successfully made "Post Mapone" into a name that is used on here without me having to say it xD i have others who name her that without me provoking them lol

Also, one of my fave things is that i have made a ton of friends on here, i have seen so much wonderful art, have participated in so many wonderful events, and i hope to have become a good mod for everybody ♥

I love each and every one of of you here on the MLPTP ♥

One entry please!
I keep rolling through here like a tumblin' tumbleweed after coming back to ponies in 2022. This community, and the fact that @MustBeJewel has been keeping it going for us since the days of yore, is such a heartwarming thing.
MLPTP gave me some lovely Christmas feels last year. I was too new to the site (a.k.a. away for 17 years) to participate in some of the events, but new friend @Twinkle-eye and I agreed to make customs for each other for Christmas. So now I have a treasured and beautiful custom pony who is still(!) waiting for me to finish my custom Jellybean to hang out with, and I'm proud of the winter-themed custom I stretched my dusty, rusty bones to make for her.
Ponies have been with me since I was a little bitty 1980's girl. Collecting and customizing has been a huge creative and social outlet over the years, through which I've made some wonderful friends. Being able to come back to a place as uplifting and friendly and pretty as MLPTP after such a long time away, during a time in life when it seems like everything is always changing or being lost to time, means a whole heckin' lot to me. (Even Marco Albiero, whose art made our eyes all shine like stars back in the early 2000's, is still here bringing beauty to our hobby. Just amazing!)
