And WOW, what a year it has been for us here at the MLPTP! While the production of Posty was secretly underway, we experimented with MLPTP swag back during the 2023 Fundraiser with the release of die-cut holo glitter Posty stickers that members were able to purchase in exchange for Fundraiser prize giveaway entries:


As you all know, the Fundraiser has been a key element in supporting the heavy financial burden of running the MLPTP, and made possible by members like you! <3

With our Fundraiser goal for 2023 met, we took a little bit of a risk and made MLPTP members' most frequent request into a reality, with the help of HQG1C: a REAL Posty Pony!

With the ever-present support of the mods, I set about learning the production process, creating the limited edition cards (featuring our lovely Posty artwork by Marco Albiero), writing the numbers and sleeving the cards by hand, designing and printing the holo sticker, creating all graphics, and of course, packing and shipping each Posty with care to destinations all around the world. The entire process on my end took several months and an indescribable amount of work, but we could not be happier with the result. <3

All across the globe, it seems! :shock:

In early November of 2023, MLPTP mod and die-hard Post Mapone creator and fan @Sassarazzmadazzles assembled this beautiful Posty display at the PFF convention in San Antonio, Texas, where attendees could purchase Posty in person, as well as receive an exclusive MLPTP sticker. Thank you, Sassy, for all of your hard work and mailing back and forth with me!


As of now, Posty has completely sold out. I could not be more pleased that we seem to have chosen a production number that enabled so many to be able to own Posty without selling out immediately. The financial security this project helps create for the future of the MLPTP is no small thing, and it will also help us to do more fun things for all of you!

Hmmm.... Fun things.... What would be a fun thing? :blink:

Oh no!!!@mustbejewel you even warned me and everything that you were running out and I still took my sweet time fingers crossed but my fault for taking too long.My favourite memory is actually finding the site! I have always loved ponies but felt like I had to be a “normal” adult and shouldn’t be interested in these things. Then one day I picked up a basic fun of heartthrob and realised it was ok to love what I love. I am more of a silent stalker on mlp but it brings me great comfort to know that there are others like me with the same interest. I now have an original heartthrob and am in the Christmas card exchange So grateful I can connect with others like this!

So many good memories in the old chat room that used to be on the site. I remember organizing a little care package swap for a friend who was sick. Giving and getting emotional support when we needed it. For a while, I swapped ponies all the time. Great times :)

Let’s see I think my favorite memory would be pretty much all of 2020 on here. I had only joined shortly before then but mostly lurked a bit and then I had a lot less people to interact with since everything shutdown and I thought well it might be nice to make some friends on here :) and everyone was so nice and suddenly I had a whole group of people to talk to (i hadn’t had anyone to really talk to about ponys since I was very little), and not only that but I joined the monthly card swap and got to make and receive such fun art from it, and the summer photo hunt that year was the first time I’d really played with my ponys in years which was lovely. Basically I had still had my childhood ponys out on display before I really joined here but I hadn’t been actively collecting them or doing much with them, and joining everyone on here is what got me back into the pony world which makes me very happy :lolpony:
And as a bonus, me being so into ponys again got my mom kinda involved and now she has her own little mini collection and even a few that she’s hunting for!

As for a memory, I don't really know where to begin! I suppose mine is not so much a specific memory as a testimony of what this community has done for me. I've been a lover and collector of My Little Pony most of my life (got my first at the age of 5). Back in 1998, a time in which I was suffering a great deal of depression and social anxiety, I discovered the internet communities and was excited to find other people with the same interests. Joining MLPTP has helped me interact with so many friendly people. I honestly can't think of one that stands out among the rest as everyone has been so positive. This site helped me grow my herd, which brought so much happiness, and teach me how to help others do the same. The expansive trading and selling of ponies led me to begin a side business called "The Thrifty Geek" that I run at toy fairs throughout Washington State (and soon Texas), which has been overwhelmingly valuable in keeping my new independent film company financially afloat. It's amazing to think how this community has done so much more than just provide My Little Ponies - from helping me overcome social fears, to laying the ground work for my business. A big thank you to all involved!

I very much would like to enter for Posty! She's so cute!

I was just starting up my MLP collecting as as adult and I found MLPTP to be instrumental in helping me re-recognize all of the different G1s. I bought a few and traded many more through MLPTP. I attended the first MLP Fair (the one where Bay Breeze was the fair exclusive).

More importantly, MLPTP got me into customizing ponies. Now, after 20 years of being in the MLP community, I can actually make some decent pocket money by making and selling custom ponies. Pre-COVID I used to get an Artist's Alley table at any con that came through Chicago: Anime Central, C2E2, Wizard World, Con Alt Delete, and others. I always had a great time meeting other pony people "in the wild". I got so used to hearing "Oh my God, Ponies!" that I even named my Etsy shop OMGPonies!.
 
I'd like to enter for a Posty Pony.

I have so many memories on here, it's so hard to choose one, but the one that sticks out right now is when I went to Mexico and met a family from Holland and they decided to help me with my Dutch pony collection. And they were able to get me all the Dutch ponies and many duplicates at great prices and I was able to sell the extras on here to help others try to complete their Dutch collections as well.

I would love to enter on behalf of my daughter who’s 9! It’s been a tough tough year as I got diagnosed with cancer last year..so I haven’t had nearly as much time to peruse this space as I’d like. My daughter and I went to the Anaheim pony convention in 2022? Or was it 2021? Anyways it was amazing ! And then my life changed. Just seeing Posty makes me remember how happy MLP’s make me and I’ve passed on that love to my daughter since she was a toddler. I’ve been teaching her all about the 80’s ponies since she was born haha. Thank you for the fun opportunity! Posty is absolutely Adorable!

My state actually doesn't have a Posty either so I'll join in to try my luck for a Posty!

My pony history is so random. Originally around 2012 I joined the Arena since it was so busy and hopping, but I also had an account here. I didn't post as much and eventually lost that account but came back a few years ago with a new one.

I was not in a good place mentally, physically or in anyway and while I made some quick friendships and had fun being on the forum I poofed again and didn't come back till a bit before this summer.

I've been so glad to be here! I can honestly say the mods are very kind and helpful. The members have been wonderful to get to know better. I don't have just one memory in particular yet but being part of the swaps has been great fun. I love shopping and making things for people.

I've enjoyed the Cosplay chat, Sailor Moon group, and even the tattoo thread and fun games.

I'm having a blast with the D&D group with our pony-based campaign. I'm really just having a lot of fun! I can say I feel like more of a part of a the community here than I ever did much on the other place (not throwing shade just saying it's so nice here I enjoy it).

Also, it's been years since I've attended a meet but it's nice to see a few of you pop up here and there when you're around.

All in all maybe not a particular memory, but a lot of fun ones I'm enjoying making now.
 
I would like to enter for a Posty. I was not able to afford one. I have really gotten into pony collecting this year. I haven’t posted a lot but I’ve been a part of the community for awhile. My favourite part was finding a seller on eBay that’s part of Mlptp. I have gotten some great ponies from them. Is this how we enter we just make a post in this thread?

I would love to enter too . Posty hasn’t visited my part of the world yet and I’d love to welcome her!

I’m rather new(ish) here but my favorite memory is the Halloween photo hunt. I simply adore the spooky season . So many amazing entries inspired me to take some spooky photos of my ponies too (I kinda misunderstood the rules, but submitted a photo for fun anyway, ). Everyone is so supportive and friendly, I wish I discovered this amazing community sooner!

I would love to win Posty. I bought my daughter her first MLP when she was 3 years old. She is now 42 and still loves collecting them. I just joined mlptp so I dont have any stories yet. This site has been easy to use and I am impressed with it. I am happy to see so many enjoying MLPs JanieK
 
I would love to enter! One of my favorite memories from this community was all the hype for the 40th anniversary release! It was really cool to all see the updates trickle in. The anticipation was palpable

I had a Posty in my basket. I went to get my credit card and forgot what I was doing and didn’t finish my transaction. Shameful to admit, but I did this twice.

My excuse is that I’m exhausted. I’ve not been well, yet I continue to work round the clock at my crazy stressful job. I woke up in a hotel room a couple weeks ago and forgot which city I was in. I miss out on a lot of things because of my stupid job. A couple of you reminded me on FB that I could potentially win a Posty in a contest. I thought to myself, “Yeah, right. I’m too busy to participate in contests. I miss everything”. Then, I saw this post.

My favourite memories are resulting from gift exchanges. It’s the only time I receive gifts and I look forward to swaps. My favourite swap memories are the ones where I have met up with @Skybreeze or @Uftaki. I missed out on the Christmas swap this year because I’ve been travelling for the last month.

I appreciate that I can come here to vent, to celebrate, to hear a kind word, or just to play word association. It doesn’t matter how long I’ve been away, I’m always greeted with support, kindness, and humour. These are big things for a person who lives alone, works too much and has no local friends or family.

I'd absolutely love to enter to win a Posty please, as I couldn't afford her when she was released! Also really fun to see where the Postys went in the world - so cool that there's at least one Posty in Japan!

I have two favourite things about MLPTP that I can't choose between so I'm posting both, and they're related to each other anyway:

1. Finding a truly kind and supportive community of wonderful, friendly and honest people! I collect fashion dolls and had become very used to collector communities just being full of drama, mean behaviour and an overwhelming number of scammers - but the pony community here is an absolute beacon of positivity for collectors. This site houses a group of genuine, trustworthy people who I feel very comfortable buying, selling and trading with, and I feel as though I've made genuine friends here!

2. Without this site, (and especially meeting with wonderful @darklys - can I nominate them for the sticker prize or are nominations only for Posty, since I think Lys already has Posty?) my dream of starting up Project G2 Re-Do would not have gotten past being a dream! This community truly means the world to me and I can't wait to give back with the birth of a brand new factory batch of ponies!
