* MD Pony Meet: May 16th 2009! * Thank you! *

Just finished my custom and I am dying to show people. Rats!
 
*grumbles* I wish I could come. I'd get to meet so many of you guys! And plunder all yer ponies! BWAHAHAHA! :p
 
Quick question about the customs contest. I'm getting a bit on a roll with an idea and I was wondering, it's just one entry per person right? I just wanted to make sure. I've got a few I want to work on here but I don't know if they'll be ready in time for the meet. My contest entry will be. I just need to finish up some painting details on her. :)

You guys better be saving up! I'm sure there will be tons of ponies for sale and for auction!

And from the list, it would appear as though I have never even talked to more than half the people on there :tongue:

I sent out a reminder email to the VA pony peeps (who's email I've got) to remind those who have not RSVP'd and who have not turned in the form to go on and do so.

The form MBJ has us fill out is for all of our safety and is a great tool. So don't be shy, come on, fill it out and join in on the fun! ^_^v

I'm excited! I plan to bring LOTS of ponies, Rainbow Brite, Pokemon & American Girl dolls for all to see! :)

I'm glad you're so excited and enthusiastic, DB :) But please keep in mind that there are going to be a LOT of collectors and items at the meet, and we really don't have the space for much non-MLP stuff at all.. so let's try to keep it to ponies, ok? :)

Oh, cause at the NJ pony meet I had American Girl dolls, Pokemon, Rainbow Brite & other things with me... So are you saying I can't bring a single non-pony thing? If I can bring at least SOMETHING, can you please make the limits at least somewhat clear? I would hate to be without at least my Moonglo & Tickled Pink (rainbow brite dolls), as they are my absolute favorites.

I'm not saying you can't bring anything non-MLP, it's just that things tend to get very cluttered when there are a lot of extra things around. There will be a lot of people and a lot of tables. Everyone usually just brings ponies, and those who bring non-MLP things are usually just trying to sell them off, or otherwise just get rid of them. People come to the meet for the ponies, so that's what we try to focus on :) Otherwise it would be more of a "toy meet." ;)

You're welcome to bring some things with you, just try to keep it mostly ponies if you can. That's all I ask. :)
 
ok. Then I'll probably just bring a few non pony things - Moonglo & Tickled Pink, ONE american girl doll who I really like. Plus I'm gonna bring some of the pokemon customs dpp is making me and I plan to bring a plush of at least some of the pokemon to show what they're based off. don't worry, I probably won't have more than three or four of those customs by then. And all of this will stay on my own table of course and not on anybody else's.
