I love that firefly pose too!! It's so cute and energetic, it looks like she could just fly away at any moment!

Yes!!! Haha I’ve always found them kinda creepy especially the dolls, although the music I’ve heard from it is pretty good

I've heard a lot of people say, she's a mary sue (and the usual 2010's "oh no, a pretty background character that appeared out of nowhere" and "how dare they have more than two alicorns" stuff). I think it's more the fact, that her design is clearly optimised to sell as many toys and merch, as possible. G4 fans were mad about it, because I guess they forgot, that this was a children's show with pretty pastel horses that were based on toys... I did not and still do not care to understand, I was a happy tween about it. She's pretty, and I like her character, and her song is one of the best in the whole series.

Seriously what is going on there!? It’s very uncanny valley and kinda looks like Hasbro just had midjourney design this gen.


My hot take: The Love Melody pose is awful. She looks like there’s something very wrong with her display side legs, as if the bones just dissolved and she’s just dragging that front leg and doing her best to hide it.

Yup! This day aria is one of my faves! ^_^ and her design is pretty, plus I’m a sucker for love saves the day :D To be fair though, I haven’t seen any of the episodes with the baby so I can’t judge her in those ones I guess

Good King Sombra and Princess Celestia are best couple
 
I dont think equestria girls were too bad (they should have stopped at the second movie though lol, the rest i could do without)

I do like the smaller, molded dolls better than the brushable ones though
 
Twilight Sparkle was never meant to take Princess Celestia’s place; Sunset Shimmer was and Twilight was a backup.
