Glory Figurine Arrived, my pics...

I got my Glory a couple of days ago and I think she is okay. I just wish her horn wasn't a different color from her body. I think that is what bothers me the most, otherwise she is kind of cute. I can't wait to see what the next figurine looks like!
 
Nibbles666, I get what you mean and I didn't mean to come off as you aren't entitled to your opinion. That wasn't my intention. From the way you were talking, though, I was under the impression that you thought because people here are talented and could fix the sculpture they should, and enjoy the priviledge. Believe me, I read your post (a couple of times because I'm anal like that :p ), so I hope you don't think I just scanned it and blasted out a reply.

Bait is an arguable term. I view "bait" as something I have to fix up to be happy with. I would never imagine buying a collectable figurine and having to spruce it up as much as this one seems to warrant.

I don't view the actual ponies as quite the same, though. While I do get annoyed by having to sort through a pile of flawed MIB ponies to find a minty one, it's not the same to me as paying out the nose for something that's supposed to be a collectable sculpture, and thus held to a higher standard than a child's plastic toy.
 
i got mine and i live in south carolina im gonna ahave to find like one of the plastic beenie baby boxes to put mine in in another 20 years i intend to still have the stickers on mine
 
Just got mine in today. I like her! Shes so cute. Well worth my time. But what is that white stoney H squared thing that came with her?
 
got my returned replacement..there gunk on the tail and the stickers are way off..sending it back AGAIN
 
I got my glory for my birthday. I think shes really awesome. She was smaller than i expected, but i think shes really cute. I am really glad to have a G1 item like her. I hope they continue the line. Imagine how cute firefly or applejack would be. :D :D
 
well if I ever get one not damaged I'll be a little more happy. this is so annoying.

I really thought she'd be bigger.. and I too am among the disappointed. No idea what I'll do yet. I don't know that I can justify spending $200 on a set of 8 of these.

Dude. That is TINY... .. That is -not- worth the price :/ Jeeze. And considerin' that horn? Be even more dangerous.. like a thumbtack.

Bah. Glad I didn't try n' order these anyway. The protoype was so much better :<
 
Does anyone know the address to send a complaint to?

I will not be returning my product, but I am incredibly disappointed in both the design and quality, so I would like to write Hasbro a letter in the hope that maybe the remaining figurines won't be total crap. Perhaps if enough of us do this they'll actually notice.
 
go to collectables today homepage and contact them..I have been complaining to them all along about my junky figures. and I'll keep whining because its crappy.

Apparanly not everyone. There was a Mom+Baby unicorn set made by Breyer...BREYER!! and the Mom's horn was literally in the middle of her nose. It bothers me to no end every time I see her, the poor dear.

I didn't get a Glory, but if one of you decides to sell, I'll buy her. She's....interesting....for what she is, and in 20 years, finding one will be next to impossible because everyone sent theirs back, and the ones that remained in the public may be chipped or something. Besides, she'll boost the self esteem of my less than mint ponies! :D
 
Hey, I got mine for my b-day in October (sweet, wonderful bf!) but there is one thing that bothers me more than the position of the horn...the horn doesn't seem to be painted. Hmmm.

'Tis weird. She als seems to have been doing some schmokey schmokey with the bluebird. Oh well, maybe the next one will be perfect :roll:
