Beautiful work! Hooray to breaking the mold of society.

Those who are ignorant of TRUE art could never really appreciate it anyhow - your customs rock no matter what anyone says.
 
I think she's GORGEOUS. :) Her symbol and her hair are just amazing! You did an awesome job on both.

And if I was a mother to a young child, I'd have no problem with seeing something like this. As stated, it's art. And it's great art at that. :D

Heheh! When I first saw the custom, not knowing about what 'Gaia' was. I thought the head and the arms of the woman was 'hat/hair up in a bun' and then the breasts were 'eyes' that were closed (because of the shading under the breasts). The belly button as the 'mouth' in a 'O'. The crotch as 'hands being together (like praying)' and the legs as the 'long sleeves of a robe' X D

Didn't understand what it was until the title had like 'this has been offensive to some', heh. ^^"
 
Too funny :) She's turning out to be like one of those images that could be two different things depending on how you look at it :)
 
i bet it would be fun to make more customs like that... like it could be an old lady... or it could be a naked man. and if people complain about the naked man you can go "*gasp!* PERVERT! it's an old lady!" XD
 
I'll just say it once more. Anyone who cannot see this historical and religious value in that custom needs a lesson or two regarding art versus '****'. She's really a beautiful creation.

Uh...ok then, never realized that people found my corseted ponies "damaging and inappropriate". Nice to know. I'd wear a corset everyday if I had the body for it, I just think they are cute.

TBH thats exactly what I thought. Not that your customs are innaproproate, but more to say that if this was so damning for her to create than how on earth can they cope with something like a pony in a friggin' bustier?
