I agree, even though I hope Whistle Wishes will win. I think Comet Tail may edge out Starflower though.

That's what I think will happen as well.

Unicorn pattern. Hey, I don't mind. I think it's a little annoying when people vote for ponies just based on what species they are, but all the unicorns created so far are gorgeous in my eyes, even Lily.
 
I think you're spot on, although I sincerely hope Rarity doesn't win. She's pretty and all, but it would be...too predictable almost, you know?

I think you've got it nailed too. Even though I like Brights Brightly more than Rarity, I think she'll be top pony!

I think it's likely, but I'm not sure about the Silver Rain factor. A lot of people feel very strongly about her (I hate her). Also, I wonder about Prescious Gem. She couldn't possibly make it past beating Secret Wish, but it has always surprised me that the entire comminty didn't hate her. I mean, she looks like a monster straight out of Branson. And I'm not sure if I think it will be Rarity. A lot of people are tired of pink, and BB has so many fans. I would choose Whistle Wishes, but I'm not sure if she has enough support.

i was considering the pink allergy (and earth pony allergy) as well, but so many people seemed to be so enthusiastic about rarity, while being so... not-quite-as-enthusiastic about brights brightly. and yeah, it bugs me when people vote by species too. just because it's a unicorn doesn't mean it's a pretty pony. *glares at whistle wishes*

the silver rain pick was admittedly pretty arbitrary. i boiled it down to one being a white and blue pony, and one being a white and pink/purple pony, and figured blue would beat out pink/purple.
 
I have a not-so-secret wish that Secret Wish will somehow pull out a win over Brights Brightly.
 
I think in the bracket you're proposing that Whistle Wishes would take it all. She's just so gorgeous! I can't believe you don't like her, Diet.
 
I think Scecret Wish will pull a win over brights brightly and then either her or rarity will win. I don't mind though because they're both great ponies.
 
While I'm not sure who would win each heat, I predict that we'll be seeing A LOT of really close races in coming days. The REALLY close races will probably be:

Whistle Wishes vs. Windy Wisp (predict that Whistle Wishes will win by a few votes)

Comet Tail vs. Star Flower (not sure who will win, but it will be really close)

Twirlerina vs. Whistle Wishes (predict that Whistle Wishes will win by a few votes)

Secret Wish vs. Brights Brightly (predict that Brights Brightly will win by a few votes)

Rarity vs. Brights Brightly (not sure who will win, but I HOPE that Brights Brightly will win--Rarity is WAY over-rated, plus she's pink)

I predict and HOPE that it will be Whistle Wishes vs. Brights Brightly (and not Rarity) in the end (as I said, Rarity is way over-rated, and pink). While I would like Whistle Wishes to win in the end because I like her more, I predict that BRIGHTS BRIGHTLY will win the whole thing, since she seems to be more liked by people than Whistle Wishes.

btw, we shouldn't always predict the winning by species. I remember last year, people were surprised when an earth pony won over a pegasus in one of the heats.
 
I agree that it's almost sure that Rarity will win...
Poor Star Flower :( She won't make it with 3 Unicorns as her opponents...

Silver Rain is seriously screwed in every way, Rarity is pretty much 100% secure in her final 4 position. I agree Rarity will most likely win it but I think Comet Tail will beat Star Flower. Now if Sunrise Song was in the first eight it would be 4 unicorns competing for the top... but she's not... Brights Brightly might beat Rarity but I doubt it... Good predictions, Diet.
 
I dunno...puzzlemint may still win over twirlerina!

I still want Starflower to win! She's my absolute favorite.

If she gets beat out, then I guess I'll just have to have a picture thread or something. :(

Anyway, I also hope Secret Wish will at LEAST come in close! She's another favorite of mine, and everytime I look at her, I see beauty. So what if she's pink? I still like her! :D So I am at least hoping she can get through Brights Brightly. But then again, if it ends up Secret Wish against Whistle Wishes, I'll be in a pickle! I don't want to choose between them! Although, if that does even happen, I'll go with Whistle. And no, it is not because she's a unicorn, but it is because she's beautiful, and because I see something in her. ^^
 
I hope Brights beats Rarity and has to take on Star Flower for the win... but I think these predictions might be more likely to happen.
 
i'm amazed puzzlemint beat out twirlerina, but i still feel skeptical that she'll win any more heats against pegs or unis. :/

her colors and symbol are nice and all, but i REALLY REALLY dislike that pose. it's like TE quackers' pose with a stubby little pimple horn on top. she falls over all the time and doesn't look at all regal the way unicorns are supposed to. the horn on rarity's pose is better proportioned, and at a better angle, and i just generally like ponies on all 4 feet (or at least 3 feet). those mid-gallop poses or whatever they are give me hives.
