Baby Cotton Candy’s U.S. Tour Update/Photo Thread!

I'll have the pics from the Gardens posted either tonight or tomorrow.

Baby-C arrived this afternoon! Since today was a designated lazy-day, we stayed in the house. first I introduced her to the rowdy locals...

Kimmy is a 13-year-old cockatiel. He's ornery, and did not appreciate having visitors.

Bronnie & Digby were much more welcoming, but we interrupted nap time, so they really only wanted a treat.
cc02.jpg

We learned during the pets and ponies pageant that Hush doesn't much care for ponies, but she tolerated an introduction to Baby-C.
cc03.jpg

Then we stopped in the kitchen to water my little plants. I turned my head for only a second, and Baby-C made a snack of one of my Morning Glories! Maybe I should have offered her something to eat after her trip from NY.
cc04.jpg

After Baby-C got a proper meal, I took her to meet the herd...or at least the part of it that's crammed on my desk.
cc05.jpg

She also got to meet the Starrbys (and Tenn)!
cc06.jpg

Hopefully tomorrow will be sunny so we can go out and have a little fun before I get my wisdom teeth removed on Friday. >_<

Cute pictures, Starrby!

Good luck with your wisdom teeth!

This is a really cool and interesting idea! Awesome!

Here's a few more pics, from Thursday this time... The first two I had to take with my phone because I didn't want to be a weirdo walking around shopping with a big honkin' DSLR. XD

Baby-C and I went to Borders to get the new 39 Clues book!
cc07.jpg

Our next stop was PetCo (where the ponies go?) to get a couple new fish for my dad's tank.
cc08.jpg

This is my sister Rheyn being weird. XD
cc09.jpg

I can't believe my week is half over already! I'm hoping to be able to leave the house tomorrow... <3

Cute pictures, Starrby! By the way, I like what you did with Baby Cotton Candy's hair. :)

I hope your wisdom tooth removal procedure went well.

Cute critters, and hurrah! Starrby Army! :) Tenn is so handsome...

Here are the last of my pictures...

On Monday Baby-C and I became substitute Science teachers at my old elementary school, and learned about sea creatures!
cc10.jpg

...and took a little time off to play with Floppy the bunny.
cc11.jpg

When I was in 1st grade, this Trojan Horse was the highlight of the playground... There was a spiral staircase inside his front legs, his body is hollow, and there's a little trap door in the side of his belly to look out of. He has since been deemed "unsafe", his legs have been cut off, and the combination wasps nest/dead squirrel has been removed from his mouth. XD
cc12.jpg

In honor of the old, iconic Trojan Horse, the school built this newer, more child-friendly version...complete with buttslide. XD
cc13.jpg

Baby-C also came to work at the art center with me, but none of the aprons fit her!...
cc19.jpg

...and she couldn't reach the pedal to use the wheel!
cc15.jpg

She thought the clay looked more like a mountain than art supplies.
cc14.jpg

She mistook the kiln for a sauna. Fortunately, it wasn't turned on.
cc18.jpg

We organized the glazes...
cc16.jpg

And Baby-C made a new friend.
cc17.jpg

Tomorrow she'll be in the mail! :D <3

yeah I have no idea where she is in the buttslide horse pic.

I see her! :) *types in white*: she's on the shoulder

STarrby, those pics are great and some are just plain hilarious!!! Your bird looks *so* disgusted, and the ceramic friend looks petrified ( as in scared, not turned-to-stone... heh). LOL

Update--Baby Cotton Candy is on her way to ponysforme!

BCC has had a great week in Missouri. Here are some photos from our adventures!

Here is BCC saying hi to Caeser our lizard.

Auroura one of our cats makes sure that BCC is feeling right at home.

BBC then goes to meet part of the herd. I think that they make her feel welcome :)

BCC makes sure she does her part to help celebrate Earth Day!

BCC loved helping us cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals while she was here. (Yes we are in Kansas City and we are Royals fans too)
