Don't forget Amtrack! I was thinking I wouldn't be able to make it based on expensive airfare, but an Amtrack round trip will only run me about $150. And, I can travel overnight Friday, and arrive 7am Saturday a few blocks from the convention center! So I only have to pay for one hotel night. Except I'll have to leave at about 2PM Sunday to make it back for Monday morning work. Yuck. :)
 
Does it say anywhere how many booths there are and how many booths and assistants one person can have?

At other conventions I've been to, the security will only let people with a dealers badge or a dealers assistant badge into the dealer's room to set up before the room officially opens. Is this how security will be handled at the mlpfair?
 
I found a GREAT deal on a hotel if anyone's interested. They have very low regular rates, but if we can get enough people interested for 10 rooms, they'll give us an even better Group Rate deal.

The only thing is that it's a bit of a drive from the Convention Center (33 miles) but the rate is less than $50/night after taxes.
