  • For this swap, you will be creating a mommy pony for an "orphaned" baby pony.
  • Participants will be paired based upon skill level. Don't be intimidated if you're a beginner!
  • This is a circle swap. Partners will be secret, so please try your best not to reveal yours until he/she has received his/her custom.
  • You will have EIGHT WEEKS to complete your custom. Please be sure that you are able to commit and stay committed to this project.
Participation Requirements:
1. Minors (ages 16-17, per TP guidelines) may join if they are sponsored by a moderator. You must check in with your sponsor on the check-in dates just as you do with me. Your sponsor must then check in with me to verify that you have checked in with her. Sponsors will receive sponsor feedback for the swap
2. Minimum three months membership.
3. Minimum post count of 50.
4. Minimum of 5 positive feedbacks on any of the community sites (MLPTP, Arena, PonyIsland). Negative feedback will be investigated.
5. If you are involved in any other swaps in ANY of the community's forums, you must tell me. Please do not take on more than you can handle. Only you know your limits, but I would prefer that you not be involved in more than three custom swaps, including this one. If you lie to me, I will not be happy.

**A note: If you don't meet the requirements now, don't despair! The TP holds many wonderful swaps throughout the year, so you will have many more chances to join the fun. My custom swaps tend to run more than one round, as well, if they're popular.**

Swap Requirements:
1. Please use a genuine Hasbro pony to create your custom. Fakies just aren't of the same quality. If you are unsure about whether you should customize a particular pony, don't hesitate to ask. Better safe than sorry!
2. No cross-generation customs (e.g. A G3 mommy for a G1 baby)!
3. No sculpting, please! There should be no need for it in this swap.
4. You must be able to meet all deadlines. If you do not meet the deadlines, you will receive neutral or negative feedback.
I understand that life can sometimes throw us curveballs. Should a problem arise, I ask that you PM me ASAP so that appropriate arrangements can be made. I don't know that something is wrong if you don't tell me, and I can't spend time tracking you down to find out. I don't want or need details - just your status. If something happens that causes you to miss check-in or ship late and I am not informed, feedback will be left as deserved.
5. All packages must have some type of tracking, for which you must PM me the codes.
It is YOUR responsibility and YOURS ALONE to ensure that your package is shipped properly and on time. If it gets lost in the mail and you have proof of sending, I won't hold you accountable. These things happen. That's why it's important that you pay for tracking. However, if you cannot provide proof that you sent, you will be responsible for making another custom for your partner.
6. You must leave feedback for your partner (the person who made a custom for you) after receiving your custom. You will not receive feedback from me until I see that you have left it for your partner.
7. It would be nice for you to leave feedback for me as a swap host, but I don't require it. :)

Important Dates:
May 1-7: Swap sign-ups. References will be checked as I receive forms.
May 8: Partners assigned. Don’t procrastinate! GET STARTED!
June 5: Progress reports due. A photo is required. At this time, if I have received a photo, you will receive your partner's address and be free to ship.
June 26: International shipping deadline.
July 3: US shipping deadline.

Hmm... this sounds like fun but I have a lot of private customs going on right now =/ I'll have to see where I am by the end of the week and try to slide in my application last minute XD
 
I've sent in my form! I hope its ok that I'm in several swaps, but I'm finished most of them and just waiting to ship out the pony.

ohoh hey [strike]you said it could be a cross gen[/strike], but what about cross breed? Hasbro made some moms and babys that weren't matching species, so is that allowed here too? i know, no one's been assigned yet, so you don't have to start asing questions, but i just thought of that and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

EDIT: oopse you were right ristvak, i miss read. but still the cross breed question is a genuine one still ^^; my bad!

Oohh.. after how successful the last swap went for me, I might want to try another one... and that could be a great birthday present for me as the US shipping deadline is on my birthday. And the check in date is between pony meet and my vacation, so I'll be home.. hmm.....
 
No, no cross-generations. Meaning, for example, no G3 Mommy Countdown for G1 Baby Brother Countdown.

If you mean cross-species like the TAF babies... They do technically have mommies, but if you wanted a (an? I always wondered about that) unicorn Mommy Sweet Tooth or Up, Up, and Away or Pegasus Mommy Milky Way, that's OK.

ETA: Taking that into consideration, if anyone wants to change her list, please do so ASAP so that I can switch it out in my database.
 
well i was meaning if you picked an Earthling baby, could you make a Uni or Peg mommy or does it have to be an Earth mommy? and vise versa; if it was a Uni or Peg baby, could it have an Earth mommy?
