My bait box is pretty empty right now. What about you guys? Got any fun fixer uppers? :cool:

It would be slightly easier for me to answer, “what’s not in your bait box.” I have everything and two 46 gallon tubs full of baits and fixer uppers.

I just haven’t had time since my surgery in July to do anything really. :(

Everything is hiding under the craft room table and in the “thinger” beside the table. I really need to organize and get my life back on track.
 
I just have a few baits that live in the box instead of on display. (If all they need is hair, they are on the shelf with the rest. Lol!)

I had some big plans at one point. I love all the hair I have on hand. I don’t remember what my vision was when I bought it though....

I’d JUST finished up all of my TLC ponies… and then I found these tonight, sticky and overpoweringly foul-smelling. An hour of intensive scrubbing later, they almost don’t smell anymore, but two of them are getting an overnight soak because their insides are caked with either rust or tar. One of the Merriweathers also has an ear and a front hoof mostly chewed off, so that’ll be fun to try and fix!

My main project is a first tooth baby Fifi that needs a reroot (had a horribly rusty tail and the rust had leaked all over), as well as a coat of fresh paint over her tooth and one of her cutie marks.

I also have a Majesty I've been sunfading for a while but I realized it's getting harder and harder to keep fixing her without ruining something else, so I stopped at a point where I felt she displays well enough.

um... some of them might be in more pieces than others... :surprisepony:

the two bald ones are HQG1C, not really bait exactly, but they're still not in display condition so they count to me, LOL

no idea, she came like that - still sealed in bag and everything :blink: i wish i remembered where i bought her, but she was a last minute purchase at MLP Fair because my shopping party wanted to get going back to the hotel LOL
