What are your thoughts on G4's? or as you may call G3.5

TBH I absolutely hated them when i first saw them. Mom still calls them alien ponies and even my toy-loving hubby cant stand 'em :( ... but I decided to buy one set anyways just as a comparison cos i collect all gens. i found out though that they are actually in the same pose as my fave G1's so I cant possibly hate them now *sigh* even though the head is waaaay too big and so are the feet and they have no body... just knowing they are in those poses means I have no power to resist:doh5B15D:

Ugh, I've hated them from the first. I refuse to buy any. I keep hoping Hasbro will wake up. . . .or at least pay more attention to the needs of adult collectors.

At first, I hated them, but I fell in love with the Stylin' Pinkie Pie, now I love them :)

It seems so weird that when my daughter grows up and thinks about the "My Little Pony" from her childhood she's probably going to remember these guys. . .time will tell. The design is hasn't really grown on me yet, but I'm more concerned that the same few ponies will be repackaged over and over again instead of introducing new characters and personalities. It takes a lot of the fun out of it, in my opinion.

I severely dislike them.
1. They look like bobbleheads
2. The over all design looks like something geared towards 4 year olds. I was still playing with my ponies when I was, oh idk 9. They look too... babyfied.
3. They look like they are made of a harder plastic. Like I could take someone out by smacking them over the head with one.

The only ones I've seen in the walmart here are the ones with the names plastered on the side. That just looks stupid to me. Like people who tattoo their own names on their bodies. Why? Do they need a reminder? 00)
Oh and they cost way more than they're worth. At least to me they do.
