What are your thoughts on G4's? or as you may call G3.5

So what exactly are your thoughts on these G4's or as you may call G3.5's?
Cheap immitation? Cute but not the same? Post your thoughts! :)

I think they are cute..But I will miss the G3's :(
 
I know a lot of people don't like them, but I think they are adorable. The only thing I don't like about them is that I don't like the open mouth. I don't think I've ever liked an open mouth on any pony though.
 
I used to hate them too, but they've grown slowly on me. I don't own any yet and don't have any intention on buying them but if I received one in a lot, or if someone gave one to me, I'd keep it :)
 
I just want to know when Steve Madden signed on to Hasbro to design all their toys. Everything now has a huge bobblehead, a nonexistent torso and clodhopper feet.

Is this really the most successful toy formula?
 
I am not a fan at all. :nodno: To me, they don't even look like MLP's at all, or for that matter, even ponies. They just kind of look deformed to me. All I can say is I will miss the G3's. :cry:
 
I do NOT like them!! They're way too small and their heads are too big! They look more like ponyville than actual my little ponies.
Why do they make them smaller and smaller? I mean, G3s were smaller than G1s (not than G2 luckily! :p) and now those? No no no, I'm not getting a single one! :icon_razz1:

*shouts* : Bring back regular sized ponies!!!!!

I hate them! I refuse to buy them--even on clearance! I only bought the McDonalds ones.

When they first came out, I wrote Hasbro and told them they just lost a customer.

Their bodies are so small that you can't much decoration on them. I agree that their heads are way too big for their bodies--my bf calls them the elephantitis ponies--lol.

I also hate the newborn babies--my bf calls that the taking a dump pose--lol.
 
Not a fan. They look kinda like aliens with their disproportionate eyes and head and skinny necks... a lot of girl's toys are looking like that these days.. what's with that?! I miss the days of chubby, cute G1's!!!
 
I first saw those in Asda a few weeks ago and my exact thoughts were "what the "edit" are those? And what happened to the normal G3's?" I honestly first thought they were meant to be some kind of "teen-ish" versions of the ponies, kinda like SHS or something lol.

THhe unicorns are cuter than the rest, but Im not sure what to make of them. I do wonder wether Hasbro understood that part of the reason G3's sold so much better than G2's is because they were closer to the originals thou!
 
I hate them!! I am the same as a lot of people. I refuse to buy them. I only got the christmas sweetie belle from target because she was 75% off, other than that. NO!

Heads are waaaay to big. The bodies are too small... and oh yeah they only make the same 7 ponies!! HOW BOREING! also, has anyone else noticed, sweetie belle is the smallest of them all?? why would they not even make them all the same size. STUPID I say... STUPID! Yes, bring the old ones back!!! seriously hasbro you'd be sooooo much more richer right now!

Pff :p Well in that case we'll save some money as well and just buy used (and therefore cheaper) ponies instead!! :labrat:
