Hey.

Which Baby Lemon Drop is the rarest? The one in Cotton Candy Pose or the one in Baby Ember pose?

And can Lemon Drop's symbol fade to light blue when her hair is still nice and purple???

Thanks!

Hugs, Lily

I guess to a buyer in the US, it's about as easy to get one as the other, except for the potential language barrier. But a lot of German sellers speak better English than some of the English ones *grins*.

Is that a jab at American stupidity?! Ehh, it's true, some Germans DO have better English than Americans, namely the ones in my school who keep getting stuck in my classes even though I'm quite bright, and they're, well, not.

And yeah, the paint most likely varies by batch/year, or being a mail-order/released in shops. I'd tend to think purple symbols would fade quicker than purple hair, though pink fades at the same rate for both. (As I discovered with my once-mint Posey. )

I looks like a jab at British stupidity, but I live in the US and think it would be more accurate if it were a jab at American stupidity. I'm SO sick of "dumm ppl who tlak liek dis yo u now" and they're ALL FROM THE US. jesus people, go to freaking school.

Enough of my spontaneous rant. Carry on. =)

re

anyone have pictures of both of them? I have baby lemondrop that i'm waiting in the mail along with baby nbbe ribbon, baby apple jack, and baby blue ribbon. The person is from the UK so i assume that this is not the german one. I just want to see how the german one looks like because I've been going to the german ebay and can't find the one that's supposed to be in cotton candy's pose. is she that rare then?

re

oh my thank you. i've never seen that lemondrop before. all i know is that the germans go for $40 to $70. I want that german lemon drop more than ever now, lolz. i have to keep hunting for her.

I think it was actually a jab at English stupidity.

I don't believe baby Lemon Drop was ever sold as a mail order though.

True, but Taffeta is in the UK, so I hazard to guess she meant Americans. Which is true, Americans do have spelling issues. Not to say that the British don't, but you see more of it from Americans/lazy Americans.

Baby Lemon Drop wasn't sold as a mail order. The adult Lemon Drop, however, was. Wasn't there a differnce on hoof markings, like Peachy?? One has two hooves marked, the other has four?

(I'm UK as well, so I figured Taff and I would think along the same lines.)

I would say $30 would be too much for German Baby Lemondrop. I think I paid around $18 for mine, and that was only because I was annoyed at being outbid on another auction.

I would approximate her value as around $15-$20, though it is possible to get her for less than that.

Actually, I meant English stupidity. As in people - in general, who claim to speak English as a first language. It was a linguistic comment and if I had meant to insult Americans (which would be an unpleasant and uncalled for thing to do) I would have said American and be done with it. Please do not put words into my mouth. Just because I live in the UK does not immediately mean any insult I make regarding language is directed at those across the atlantic.

I work in a library here where the vast majority of people coming in are not English. A good proportion of them speak better English than some of the natives do. In fact, one of my colleagues is German and her English is significantly better than some of the creatures who slop through the door day by day.

That was essentially my point. If you want to split hairs about it, Americans speak American English and English speak English...so is it likely I was attacking you? :p

Alright. I live in the US, never been to England/haven't met many Europe/Asia/Africa peoples. Don't mind me, I was just assuming stuff based on what I know (America). Sorry if I got you angry. :(
