It's really looking great so far! The only but I experienced is that I have to click the "quote" button in order to reply to a thread. The "post/reply" button wasn't working, but I'm guessing that's related to the upgrade? I'm just so happy that the site is here to stay. I really can't think of much of anything to change. It looks like we already had some helpful suggestions though.

The missing sidebar is temporary, as the entire software of the forum is undergoing a change. The current software is VBulletin, and is no longer well-supported, so it is vulnerable to bugs and errors that will be difficult if not impossible to fix. The missing sidebar is evidence of that. So, we are moving to a new FORMAT, a new software, but NOT a new website, and the look of the current TP will change but not drastically. The new format will be completely up to date, sleek and fast, user friendly, and will give us the opportunity to more easily change things and add things as members request them :) Hang in there guys, it shouldn't be too much longer!

Thanks, Jewel! :DThat would explain all the weird formatting too. My pictures are all over the place!

You can do that here, by clicking the little yellow button with the mountains on it and then putting the link from your picture from photobucket in the web url line. I do it all the time and it shows the pictures so that you don't have to have it as a download or open as a new window

nope, not what i was referring to. that option is still a copy and paste the link to post the image. i still have to open a tab to have photobucket open to get the link for the picture i want to paste. i have more pictures i want to share on photobucket than what i have saved on the computer. i was thinking of how the arena has it, if anyone else is familiar with how they do it. at the bottom of your post, you have the option of choosing an image to upload or search to paste the link of your image straight from photobucket without leaving the window/tab you are using. i could get a screen print if that helps showing what i mean.

All you need to do to add an image is click the mountain and paste in the URL of the photo in photobucket, the URL is under each photo anyway isnt it? Quick and easy.
Alternately to upload a file directly from your computer just click "Upload a file button" at the bottom of the post.
You can also stores files directly in the gallery here, and then put those images into posts.

that is what i want to avoid. why look up a url code to copy and paste in the mountain icon when i could just paste the code i have to look up in the first place? i dont want to have more windows/tabs open than i need. i would prefer to have an option be on the same page where i type and post my comments or threads. i have more pictures saved on photobucket that i would want to share than what i have on the computer, which isnt any since my computer broke and i am using my sisters. i have lost some files that i was not able to save on a drive. i can use that to upload directly to the page, but it takes a little longer.

Photobucket addon is not something we will be considering.
I would also download pics from photobucket to your computer, in case the album there is deleted at any stage then you will lose your valuable pics.. (Its always a good idea to have some type of backup somewhere). You can then easily use the "upload a file" button. I'm assuming that you would need to do similar to upload a photo to photobucket from your own computer in the first place.

We have also added a full featured gallery that members are most welcome to use. :)

no worries, then. i will keep doing it the old fashion way. i don't post that much pics, but in case i do, i still know how to do it the old way. thanks for the advice.
