My cats are all about the pony hair as well. I wonder what it is.
I'm home today so I hope to get started on painting.
 
OK. Bait prepped and ready to go, and I got GD's custom sent out. I'm going to start today!
 
I've finally had to give up with the airbrush... ran out of air! But the FBR's done the good old fashioned way. Now to just do symbols and what not.

I forget how much work a full-body repaint is... especially w/ a light color! o_O

But I think I've got it done now, finally!:yoda:
 
My rehair tool arrived today and now an hour later, the rehair is done! I'm just waiting on the glue to dry so I can style the hair properly. Skeen, once I've got her styled, I'll send you a picture. :)
 
I have started the symbol and picked out the hair color! I hope to get more work done tonight. One of the benefits of losing the 2nd job is a TON of extra time! :dog_dance:
 
Hair finally arrived. Getting to work on that either tonight or tomorrow.
So far, so good. :D

*edit* Bought Mod Podge, there was only 1 type there however... 'Classic' is that ok to use?

I think this has to be my slowest start ever.
I dont know life could be so crazy. Dont worry I will be on time for the check in. I have never been late in a swap & I intend on starting now.

Tonight I may have some time to get some more done on is poor naked custom.
 
Update... Mine is doing well. Got the bait...cleaned her. Some undersculpture done (I know I know...no sculpture...but this one needed a little). The only bad part is mine is not rehaired..I am working with what is there, I hate that but I don't have a rehairing tool and I don't rehair well. So hopefully the sculpted and painting beauty will be enough. Plus I will at least style it nice. Ha!
 
I'm sure the custom will turn out great Whippetluv, I wouldnt worry about it.

Now I'm worried I may run out of hair with like one plug left. The story of my life. :p
I did get more done last night. I should be about done by the time photo check in comes around.

Oh! Rowdy_Cowgirl, if you're done, you can go ahead and send me pics if you want, and then you don't have to remember to do it next week.

I will be having a root canal later this week and the crown will be put on next Monday, so I will be in no mood for missed deadlines. DO NOT miss the deadline, lol! Those of you who have been in my swaps before know what that does to my blood pressure. :biggrin:

Man, midterms kicked my butt. Stupid anatomy and phisiology...grumble grumble. I'm still sitting here with a prepped bait. Luckily, I have no school work or manditory overtime at the hospital this weekend, so I am hoping to bust out everything but the hair. Which leads me to a question. Does anyone know if custompony.com ships quickly? Dollyhair was out of some colors I needed, so I decided to order from custompony....which I've never done before. The website says deliveries are normally 2-5 days....is that true? I don't know where they are located, so I don't know I should be expecting a longer wait. If it's what the website says, then all the hair should be here Monday or Tuesday. If not, I may be looking at dying some of the white hair I have here.
 
To the best of my knowledge, CustomPony has disappeared of the face of the planet. Orders from last year haven't been posted, with no contact. If you're desperate, try restoredoll or mylittlecustoms. But don't trust CP.
