For some reason when I was a kid I became worried I would go blind, so I 'practiced' being blind by wearing a blindfold while doing my chores like hanging out the clothes and dishes. I knew how many footsteps it took to get to each room of my house, and how many to get to my best friend's house two doors down. LOL. Kids are so kooky.
