Summer ATC Swap -- Vacation cards mailed!

yay! i got my speedy cards today. they are amazing. thanks so much. i will show them off when the next batch comes in. thanks so much. do we leave feedback for just you or everyone we got a card from.

I think past ATCs have been the organizer leaves feedback for the participants and the participants leave feedback for the organizer, since the organizer mails out the final packages.
 
You won't hve gotten my cards yet ladyphoenix.

My fiancé just informed me he never mailed them -.- We've been fighting, to the point of breakig up at one point, so his immature way of gettingback at me was not mailing my cards as I asked him to. I never have the car, so I will delegate the task to my mom today. I apologize, again -.-
 
I got my speedy cards Thursday (?) I didn't get the chance to post though. I had a wedding on Sat. and spent all day Friday and Sunday driving. And while not attending the wedding or driving, I was sleeping. How does driving make you so tired!?!?! Anywho, they got to me safe and sound, and I love them!!
 
My cards are in the mail to you ladyphoenix, finally! I hope the SASE I sent is big enough, and this time I just put that Liberty Bell stamp on it; I didn't think we had any, but I ended up finding some, so hopefully that will be enough for you to send the set of cards for me to me.

Oh, my printer absolutely killed my coloring/shading, so once it's all done I'm gonna be posting a thread with the cards I made in it, so eveyone can save a digital copy of their card too. Maybe they'd have better luck with printing them. I'm not sure what happened - I've used it to print Photoshop projects before without any problem, but I tried numerous times, fidgeting with color settings and what not, with no luck :(
 
All right! All the vacation swap cards have arrived safely. I'm expecting to get them packaged up and mailed out over this Monday. Thanks for being such a cooperative, responsive group. We had NO MIA swappers and everyone who was behind schedule kept in touch. I couldn't have asked for much more! :D

Keep me posted as to when your cards arrive. Also, please feel free to leave suggestions as far as what you think went well and what could be improved. I'm hoping to do at least one more of these swaps this year and I've love to get some feedback on what you liked or disliked, and any theme ideas you might want to see in future swaps. I may actually put together a little survey form for you guys. ;)
 
Little update: All packages were mailed out today and I sent around a survey for my planning benefit via PM. Feel free to wait on the survey until you get the cards just in case something comes up in the mailing process. I don't think anything will happen, but I'm all about planning for worst case scenarios. ^_^;;;
 
I'll definately fill out the survey once the cards arrive. I can't wait to see them all! Can we take pictures of them all & post them here, or do you already have pics?
 
I took pictures of everyone's cards as I was sorting them out this weekend (I am planning to put them in an album here for my revised ATC guidelines as examples, along with Lev's brag post which is chock full of MLP arty goodness), but you are very, very welcome to post the ones you received!

Yay! I can't wait to get mine! I think we should all take pictures of our set and show them off ^.^ maybe we can make a separate thread and we can each post the set we received in it? I'd loveto see all of them ^.^

also, I'm going to post a thread with the digital versions of the ones I made, so yall can save them and maybe even try reprinting them since my printer killed them. When could I do that?
 
Oh man, my poor mail man is gonna be scared to come to my house. Now I've got cards and two pony packages I'm waiting for!!! hehee
 
Ahhh, so glad to hear they're starting to arrive!

BB: I think a separate brag thread would be great as soon as you get your cards. I don't think there will be any problem posting your digital versions in a couple days, either, because I'm guessing most cards should make it to their destination by this weekend if the postal system is nice to me. :)

Glad to see you think the brag thread would be a good idea ^.^ I would love seeing everyone's sets ^.^

If my house Internet is working by then, I'll post the digital versions on Sunday. We just unhooked my entire computer and moved it, so I'm hoping that when we hook it back up, my Internet problem will be fixed.

Aha! So you got my cotton candy. That was my favorite one. Know what's funny is, my style has changed since then, even. O.O Wow! xD
And that Waterfire has GOT to be from Silver. She's sooo amazing! Great job, everyone! Can't wait for miiiine :3
 
Good eyes, DPP! That is one of Silver's cards. :D (I told you you guys wouldn't be disappointed letting her join a bit late!)

BBD: My ponies were experiments with Translucent Liquid Sculpey. They're photocopies of G1 lineart colored with oil and chalk pastels. You can also use colored pencils and pigment powders to color them -- just as long as whatever you use to color isn't waterbased, they should turn out okay. :)
