I have to say I'm utterly amazed.

I'd been watching this baby for a while, hoping to win.. I had last seen her sell for maybe around $90-$100. She was well out of my range at the $200 mark, but I didn't expect it to continue to go up!

End price: $635.00

So is it just the season, has she become THAT rare, or have G1 Mail Orders gone up insanely in value?

Congrats to the winner....

wow ! just for one tiny little pony..I had 2 sets of G1 mail order ponies well 1 now. I had the collector set that you got in the mail(with most accessories) and I also have the rainbow set too.(i think there is only 1 ribbon missing)..had them on ebay and no interest..guess timing is everything and if people want a certain pony.

How about a congrats to the seller ;)

Seriously, I was *ecstatic*. am selling my whole collection to pay off some things (loan, house, school, etc.) and this *really* helps out. Between her and the mommy I made a bundle (over 1,00000). The winner won a different mommy pony I auctioned a couple weeks ago, and she paid right away and was a pleasure to deal with. Soo, I know she was serious with her bid :)

Yeeeeeeeaaaayy!

P.S. I can't get that weird head hitting a brick wall- smiley to go away. haha

Congrats ladyamalthia!! That's awesome that you were able to make that much!! :D

I could never seriously consider dropping that much cash in one go though... >>;; And has anybody else noticed that there have been a lot of Mommy ponies popping up now?

Ebay is crazy now. XD

Wow very nice, congrats. I'm selling off my collection too but was holding off on the harder to finds and Nirvanas. Maybe I shouldn't be right now, lol.

Tis the season for the crazy eBay buyers!! Huge congrats to the seller!

Wow! Just wow! If I sold mine it would never go that high! I just don't have ebay seller luck.

I saw that too. The only thing I am concerned about is the number of bidders who are bidding that have similar ebay ids. Ie a***b or whatever, all the bidders have one letter in the front and one letter at the end of their ids with 3 asterisks in the middle. What is up with all those bidders!!! I have found many of them lately all with well over 100 feedbacks and I have never seen them on ebay till now!!! I know no one is cheating since they are bidding on mulitple different things (ie ponies, care bears, game boy games ect), off different sellers, and have 100% positives. I was just wondering if this was a new fad or something.

Sorry, had to rant...all I need are mail orders now and I saw several of these on another auction I was bidding on (I missed Sweet Scoops with charm) and most of them have Ids like that.

When an auction gets to a certain point ebay hides the id of those bidding using the ****'s to protect them from being contacted by others that may scam them or sell outside of ebay. I believe that is why you see the partial id's with the ***'s.

Congratulations to the seller! :)

HAHA.

Congrats!

The insane thing is... it takes two to tango, er, to make an auction go that high.

Dude...wow. And I told you Dad to go to 250...he must have thought I was mad.

Thanks Mia, I really thought I was going nuts!! They must have changed that with the updates they made in the last few months. I was really beginning to believe there was a conspiracy about people with ids like that following me around bidding on everything I liked!!! LOL! Congrats to the seller! I have never seen her go that high before!

No problem. :) I have also seen them use the Bidder 1, Bidder 2, Bidder 3 thing. Not sure what constitute using one verses another.

I think I would die if I ever sold something on ebay for that amount which had started at 99 cents. I still am amazed. Wow!

I think it has alot to do with the season, I've the noticed high prices lately and I recently bought a pony for 180.00 that I probably wouldn't have normally spent so much on her but I justified it since she was a Christmas present.

:wow: Congrats LadyA!

With prices like this I'll be quite happy waiting for the slump to get my christmas present. I don't care if I have to wait till September! lol, I wouldn't want someone overpaying on me for one little pony. (though the one in the auction is in such fabulous condition. and if the buyer is happy with her purchace the price is always worth it. :))
