Baby No Toes!

I have no idea what this girl's backstory is. I bought her... god over a year ago for the G3 to G1 Swap, she was going to become Baby Honolu-loo. But when I got her... I just couldn't do it. Have you ever gotten a bait that's just so baity you can't bait it? That's Baby No Toes. I just look into her cataract filled eyes and my heart melts XD
(Or maybe I'm deterred by all the sculpting involved... But I'm gonna go with the sob story XD)

I always get excited when I see a bait at the thrift store. I love to customize, but this poor girl really made me want to cry. I am hoping I can restore her into a pretty princess again.

Any way, she is far from winning but alas she still makes my heart ache looking at her nibbled off ears, poor baby :(

Got this girl in a bait lot. Not sure what the plan was for her originally but she was covered in this powdery white paint that leaves residue on your hands. Her hair was "glued" to the cut mane. Looks like the owner didn't know how to remove the plugs so they painted over them and glued the mane to it instead. I threw the mane out a long time ago, but it was sticky ratted hair that didn't even match the plugs. She will need a good soak soon.

All those poor girls, they must have experienced a lot of misery in their lives :(
Heart Throb looks like someone didn't finish a brain surgery on her.. Really scary!
 
Wasn't there like a beachball baby that was a burn victim post sometime here - not too long ago? Now that was a sad baby... but yeah, CC's "cherry bomb" is a definite leader in the bad bait thread

Dang, Shame on me for not taking a picture of my Peachy before I cleaned her. I was so freaked out to touch her because it looked she had poo smeared all over her :/ It was absolutely disgusting. (Btw, I don't think that's what it was, because it didn't smell... well, I didn't make an effort to smell and see, I'm just saying.. it just looked like it.. I'll really hope it was just something else.)
I love those mc ponies @__@; I must find something to enter.
 
Okay, I have two entries, two ponies. (Second pony will be in my next post.) Sadly enough, they are childhood ponies in bait condition, so I think that counts for this contest, right? Shows how bad of a pony mommy I was when I was little. :tongue2: I haven't gotten around to cleaning up these two ponies, so I think they're quite baity enough for this contest...

For my second entry, I present to you Lemondrop (another baity childhood pony!).

When I first found her at my parents' house again, she still had on her bridle, and her bridle was all sticky and oily and greasy... Nasty... She had been wearing this thing for 20+ years! When I took off the bridle, not only did it stain her face neon pink, the stained parts were RAISED in some areas! Looks like she had some disease on her face... :vscared:

I am so going to enter this :) I just got to wait until i get home from work to dig out the worst bow tie you have ever seen.

I to can not leave any g1 out there, i just have to buy them and give them a home.

who knows, maybe she was a voodoo object in her former life (don't know why someone would write their own name on a pony like that...) but at least she made it here and I'm gonna steampunk her out (thanks to colorscapesart inspiration!) so hopefully her second life will be happier than her first... but for now = she waits in my box... poor Serena - someday your prince will come, some day

oh my goodness thank you for joining /sharing = see what I mean ?? :) your family is a perfect fit of misfits for this halloween contest :) oh yay so glad you posted here :) I am smiling all over again :) and I just love knowing that through it all the ponies are still smiling absolutely clueless
 
Here is my entry to the contest, apparently this girl had a run in with a dog. When my sculpting skills get better i may just attempt to try and fix her.
