It’s starting to be that time of year again…​

It’s baaaaaaack…​

That’s right folks! I come back from hiatus just in time to bring you a contest! Seeing as my TP anniversary coincides with one of THE best months in the year, with my FAVORITE holiday EVER in it, it only seems fitting. Last year started off the tradition, and I’d like to think people had a blast. So lets try going 2 for 2 shall we?​

The rules are simple. Starting today, September 30th, until October 23rd every TP member may submit up to 2 different images of the most terrifying bait they have in their possession. No bait is too gnarly, too groady, too down right horrible to be excluded! Take as many pictures as you like, and post each pony in a separate post in this thread. Make sure to designate which image you’d like me to use later during the voting though. And if you entered last year, try to use a different pony please.​

Then starting October 23rd/24th (depending when I get online) you, the audience, will get to vote for who you think is the scariest bait of them all! Things to think about when choosing is how totally gross and scary the pony is and whether you’d poke it with 50 foot pole or not :lol: The voting poll will close October 30th, and the winner will be announced on October 31st.​

But wait, there’s more! Aside from handing out a Grand Prize to the scariest bait this year, there will also be a Participation drawing! Each person who enters (whether 1 or 2 ponys) will be assigned a number, and then by using the magic of a random number generator, 7 participants will each receive 1 prize. Depending upon how many people enter, the Grand Prize winner will be excluded from this drawing if there are more than 7 entrants. If there are less than 7, then depending upon who the random numbers pick, some may walk away with more than 1. But I’m aiming for 7 different winners to walk away, so get lots of your friends to enter!​

Oh, what are the prizes you ask? Well let me show you…​

Yes, these are customs made by me. Since I wasn’t a part of any holiday swaps, and I’ve been planning for Halloween since like February, there’s a lot to go around! But if you don’t like my customs, then please don’t enter; I will not offer an alternate prize.​

So hurry, hurry, hurry and start digging through those bait boxes! It’s nearly time for the grim grinning ghosts to come out and socialize!​

Since I have only had one where I was just so lost I didn't even know what to do, she'll most likely be my only entry, but I'll gladly get the ball rolling.... I even tried to find her a new home on here and no one even wanted to bother haha.... so here she is, the lovely and half painted (half attempted to be cleaned by me) Sweetheart Sister.

She's probably not the scariest some of you all have seen, but I have yet to have one come to me in worse shape.

Well I was planning to put a small thumbnail in the voting poll like I did last year, so a large composite wouldn't work for that. But I suppose I could put larger images in the main post, and just crop it to a single thumbnail for the poll.

I wanna say thanks for the sticky and I'm glad everyone's excited for this again ^^

And yes, I went nuts when I realized the acrylic gems I bought like 2 years ago and never used fit the Mc3-9 eyes perfectly; my family says they look creepy but awesome! :lol:

So I have this rule when I go to Value Village or a Flea Market: Leave no G1 Pony Behind. I don't care how bad the haircuts are, how many marks they have. I just can't leave one lying in a box/baggy, unloved.

THIS girl almost made me reconsider. Almost. She was covered in dirt, nail polish, and some random GOO. Yes I said it. Some weird, sticky, gross GOO. All that brownish stuff around her horn and on her face and stuff was sticky gross. She had a terribad haircut AND tailrust.

I stood in the store staring at her for a couple seconds and then looked in her eyes and could practically hear her saying "PLEASE don't leave me!!" She was so gross the chick at VV told me to just take her lol

I took these pics with my cellphone as soon as I got home because she was getting tossed in the sink to soak ASAP. It may just look like some of the dirtyness is due to the grainy pics, but I swear if you look closely, you can SEE the grime Poor thing lol

She is now a nice clean bait. It took a couple hours of soaking in boiling water and Oxypower Palmolive, but she cleaned up pretty well. I'm just trying ot think of a custom design that will make her beautiful again. She deserves it after the life she's had lol

I managed to pop her head off so I should be able to get the shot I want with her disassembled like this XD (It counts! -shifty eyes-)

I love the TE McPonies. I honestly hate TE but they just make the little skeletons all the creepier XD It's the perfect touch!

I'm sure the red glitter apocalypse pony will win!! Though I just looked at the contest from last year - the pony with them missing horn was amazing! None of my baits are very baity.... I'll have to have a look and see if I can make them look a bit more creepy

Got this girl in a bait lot. Not sure what the plan was for her originally but she was covered in this powdery white paint that leaves residue on your hands. Her hair was "glued" to the cut mane. Looks like the owner didn't know how to remove the plugs so they painted over them and glued the mane to it instead. I threw the mane out a long time ago, but it was sticky ratted hair that didn't even match the plugs. She will need a good soak soon.
