Sailor Moon Customs Swap - Round 2 ~ CLOSED - July 2009

Really, STOP comparing me to other people. We are NOT all alike. I hadn't decided what pony to make up until a month or so ago, and I ordered hair for that one, but I really don't want to make her anymore. I chose a different pony that isn't made often because I wanted to be different...

A week is unreasonable when it takes anything shipped to me a week or more to arrive. Everything will be finished by the time the hair arrives, so the pony can ship out the next day. You are comparing me. All this "my sister can do this and that and she has two kids" and "Skeen had surgery and felt horrible but still did this" is comparison. Saying what they can do in a certain time frame that I couldn't.

I'm going to do what I can on the fuku now... Part of it is the piece I need to go find tomorrow. Or just use dye if I can't find any.

I think that it was an amazing thing that Skeen managed to finish on time with her surgery. It takes real determination to pull that off. Props to you, hon.

I'm not going to say anything to Tenjo, because I'm still working on my custom as well. I will say that I know how hard it is to gather supplies when you're stationed at an APO/FPO. Heck, if my parents hadn't needed me to come pick up my cats in April, I would have had a much harder time getting some of the supplies I needed. But that still isn't an excuse for me to not have my own custom finished.

I hope everyone is able to sort this out, and if I can help, I'd be more than glad to. Tenjo, if you can tell us what color hair you're looking for, maybe we can assist you?

LOL Thanks! I'm only now starting to see the benefits of the surgery, but I'd recommend it to anyone who needs it!

I understand that it's frustrating since you're in the same position from another swap, and I'm sorry that you're experiencing problems.

But that doesn't make it right for you to come into THIS swap's thread, in which you are not participating, and harass a member for not being finished with her custom. And by continuing to argue with her, and make comparisons, with the intent to make her feel bad (or sorry), you ARE harassing her.

What you're doing is not constructive in ANY shape or form. You're not helping her get the custom done any faster. In fact you're just frustrating her and making her defensive, which is NOT good if she's expected to communicate with her partner.

Does Skeen have a right to be upset? Absolutely! But that's between her and Tenjo, and it's their situation to work out (with SL's help). Your remarks are making it harder for her to get that done by distracting Tenjo and upsetting her.

So please, let them handle it.

Oye! What just happened?!

I'll be looking over this this evening. I've been in touch through pm's with everyone. Life does sometimes get in the way of things, but I never stated that tenjouusagi was runner. She's just been m.i.a. for a while, but I have other means of tracking her down. She's no way like the one we had in the last swap. It's just a busy time of year with vacations starting up and children getting out of school, it's just busy. And to just F.Y.I. I've already have a backup custom ready and I've been discussing things with skeen. I've already had a plan in motion as a backup in case something happened and I had already calculated for a few to be late on shipping.

I'll be reading my messages here in a few and getting back to you guys.
 
Well, I hope this turns out well ^^ Tenjou, can't wait to see what you've made. No point in complaining abotu wha could have happened yesterday, we just need to focus on tomorrow, right? ^_^

And just to confirm, yes, SL has been in contact with me for a while now about a replacement custom. The good news is, looks like SL will not have to do a replacement. :) LOL Too bad for you, SL - I know you wanted that Wicked Lady!

I've apologized for my attitude in a PM to tenjou, and I'm sure I'll send another later (fairly certain it's really really early in Japan right now). And through the beauty of this board, I can always modify feedback left later. Once this is straightened out, I'm certain I will change it. I'm sure that between the 3 of us, we can work comething out.

BTW, SL - did you ever get that henshin rod? I mailed it, I promise! lol

Ok, as for this whole drama island stuff. Let's just stop. STOP. please. It's no need for it. I had already figured a backup plan when sign ups were being taken. I did verify people's feedback and did check on who people were in previous swaps if any. I am also noting what is going on right now with how people update and how fast they ship, how they share their work, etc. All of this is going to go into their feedback that is going to be left for them.

One of the rules at the TP, swap participants have to leave each other feedback. The swap organizer also leaves feedback. Then one of the mods/admin leave feedback for the swap organizer. It's a good system and covers many different view points.

Many of you guys, recieve pm's from me the week of shipping notifiying you of a reminder of the ship dates along with requesting delivery confirmation placed on packages. I also asked for links to be posted to photos of your custom. These links are being placed next to your names on the first post. This will be used as references for you guys later on. A link to this thread will be placed in feedback. So when the next swap organizer is searching for your swap participation, they will see right on the first post in that link what your works look like.

I will ask again. For those few who have not posted an update or sent me pm, please do both.

As for this situation, she was not saying she was a runner. Just making a statement and a few posts later, I had messaged skeen about it. We had a discussion about the situation and had a backup plan already set in motion. It was one of those what if's. I am pretty confident that no one will disappear. If they do, that negative will be slapped into feedback without hesitation.

If any participants have any problems what so ever, please just message me. I don't bite, I swear. XD
 
Bubbles and I are keeping up communication, and everything is going well. :D

Everything is going smoothly, I just have to pick up a bit and then work on it, i have everything laid out on the table. I bought g3 baits today, so i'm excited.
