Round 2 is finally here! Please be sure to read the TP rules for swaps - My Little Pony Trading Post : Forum for My Little Pony Collectors : Swaps!

Even cats. Please put when you sign up if you want a villian or senshi. I know there are some that love the villians while many love the senshi. Also, please put what kind that you'd like to receive in return. If you've got a fave senshi or a few favs, list them. Give your swap partner a variety to work with.

For clothing you can sew or sculpt. Very few characters actually have like a body suit that can be painted on. Please do not seal with modge podge. It leaves a sticky feeling even after it dries and is not good for the long term life of the custom. So much sticks to it like dust, etc. Remember to work on the custom at your own pace. Please don't wait until the last minute to get started, it will only hurt you and your work. Try to get started as soon as possible on it that way you can work at your own speed and do the best job that you know that you can do. ;)

International Shipping Deadline - April 25
Domestic Shipping Deadline - May 1

Swap should be wrapped up by Mid to late May. After that, feedback will be given. Please remember to provide feedback when you receive from your partner. You will be given a negative if you have not finished by this time and have failed to communicate that something has gone wrong. Communication is very important.

Please order supplies such as hair as early as you've been assigned your custom. There are things that you can still work on while waiting for the hair to arrive.

I'm not sure how many I have here exactly, but between here, the MLPArena, and my eBay (amulet_moon), I think it's enough. ^^; Plus I was in the last swap.

Senshi or villain, but a villain would be awesome since I received a senshi in the last swap. *hinthint* xD Then again, a human Luna pony would be the awesomest! xD

I participated in a candy swap and then a custom swap on a board that cannot be named. I sent my end out in the custom swap but never receive anything in return. Then I was in the Nirvana Adult to Baby swap over at the Arena just recently.

A box, definitely! A bubble mailer would destroy any custom that's remotely fragile!

I'm ordering stuff from Dollyhair and Apoxie Sculpt now, though I'm not sure I'll use the apoxie just yet (I have worked with it before, though). I hope to have all my materials before the 1st of March.

Fairly familiar. I'm an anime fan in general, and have quite a few internet sources as well as some books and other tangible materials.

Sailor Pluto, Sailor Cosmos, Sailor Jupiter, Luna and Artemis (especially human form), Queen Serenity (mother), Sailor Saturn, Endymion, Sailor Moon (Princess and all forms), Guardian Cosmos

Princess Snow Kaguya, Galaxia, Fiore, Queen Nehellenia

Senshi, preferably, though any would do :)

I prefer to customize G3s, but I'm ok with receiving G1 or G3s.

Ok, Soooo... I am going to attempt it. I REALLY wanna try something different. lol. I have fixed my pony up and hope to make a SM pony. :065:

I have feedback here on the MLPTP and I have feedback on ebay. I dont know if that counts or not. lol.

- Have you ever participated in a swap of any kind before? If so, which ones?
I have done a swap before. I go on crafster.org and ive done a couple of swaps.

- Where can photos of your work(s) be seen? Can we have some links to those images, please?

I suppose I could ship elsewhere if I have to. but to make someone happy, oooh ok. lol.

Sure, I can do that. I am on my computer everyday.

yes. I can do that.

Yes. I will try my best not to bail. although I dont think I would.

- When you ship out, will you be using a box or bubble mailer? A box with packing materials is strongly suggested.
A box, and bubble wrap.

- Are you famailiar of where to get supplies such as hair, sculply, apoxie scuplt, etc.? (hint: see above :wink:) Also are you famailiar with their shipping times if you do have to order supplies?
Never ordered hair before, but I will. no problem there. just hope they shipp fast.

- Are you famailiar where to find sailor moon stuff such as images, etc. to use as a guide?
Yes, I even own all the dvd's if I need to look at them more closely. lol.

Sailor Moon, Sailor Saturn, Princess Serena, Luna

Actually I dont have any.. is that bad?

I have parcipated in a MLPTP Christmas swap (2007, I was Gingerbread's Secret Santa) a card swap, and a custom swap years ago (probably 2004).

So I'll probably be doing about 50/50 sewing and sculpting. Sewing for the skirt and the collar and sculpting for the bodice/shoes.

I always ship in boxes. I'm too paranoid that ponies will get squished in bubble mailers.

Yep! The only supply I'd need is hair. I have everything else already.

I've got all 200 episodes on my laptop :p I think I'm okay! (And I also have lots of the manga on my laptop, too).

If signups remain to be this quiet, I may end up wrapping up the sign ups quicker than originally anticipated. So if you know of anyone else who may be interested, send them this way so that they will have an opportunity to sign up.

Once everyone starts shipping out, towards the end of the swap, then partners will be revealed to the entire group. But for now, it will remain a secret. ;)v
 
On one hand, I hope we do get more sign ups.
On the other hand, I am so impatient and want to get started! :tongue:

same here. I cant wait to start! but it would be nice to get a HUGE group of people.
 
I know and it's great. Don't worry DPP, please no hurt feelings. Perhaps if you continue to improve like you've been doing, we'll be able to make an exception to the rule in the upcoming rounds. So don't fret because you missed this round, there will be more to come! :)

With practice, many of us can improve. Those with natural talent, I'm jealous hehe.

As for my anxious members, if you guys want, why not look over the character list and get started on one now. That way you will be finished with one and may be able to do a 2nd during this round. It's a thought. I don't have a backup ready this round and I hope I won't need to have one. But I need to try to get started on it too.

We'll be wrapping the sign ups shortly and be getting started soon.

I wish I had any sort of natural artistic talent... I have to work super hard to get anything... but I have a good idea what I am making this time around so it shouldn't be too hard! (maybe I will get done in time for a round 2!)
