That really sucks! I'd be mad if somebody went and immediately sold a pony I had traded with them, even if it wasn't a custom I had made! It says that they didn't really care about it. Why agree to a trade if you just want to sell the pony? Why not just sell the ponies you have?
 
Oh my! Though I have never had this happen I really do feel pain for you...that is such a horrible thing to have happen. You must be so upset...If I were in your place I would probably just buy it back. It is very unfortunate that she would do that. Maybe ask if you can buy it back for a special price? I do not know. Of course technically she has a right to sell it but that is a bit shallow of her I must say. I so hope this gets resolved for you. I will pray your pony friend can be yours again or that if it is bought by another, they truly appreciate it. You definitely should be getting credit for its creation though.... I think if I plan to sell any customs or trade them I will find a permanent way to mark them. Maybe you can do that too for next time so that at least you get proper credit.
 
Yep,it looks like she had a change of heart and cancelled the auction. Oh I really hope you get her back!!:319:
 
She did end the auction early to send her to me.
Shepaintswithblood- All my girls are marked under their hooves with my name and the date of their release. :) I think she just *choose* to over look this. At least she is sending the pony back. That does make me feel much better about the situation.
 
It's me! I ran the auction and I SWEAR Idid not know I listed on Australia until afterwards, I HAVE NOT A CLUE WHAT HAPPENED THERE! Also, I 'spoke' with Vertefae and explained that I tried to contact her, or wnated to, but I had erased all my messages and could not remember her name. I even asked 2 friends of mine on another site if they had remembered her name...This was not done intentionally or to betray anyone! I did put in my auction that I was not the creator and can take no credit for her!

There is speculation that Vertefae made this especially for my daughter..NO. She had all ready made this and I implied a trade for her. There is ABSOLUTELY no foul play here. Sorry for any hurt feelings as Vertefae and I have agreed for me to send her custom back.

That was my intention to begin with and I simply could not find her name because I could not remember it. Secondly, all bids to Anchors Away are cancelled due to FOUL PLAY! I did not list her here, or at the Arena. I have personal issues with theft to my accounts and others going on..Hence, I have a court date tomorrow morning against the fraudulent person.

I so wish that people would KINDLY come to me before blasting remarks against me and before finding out the stories behind everything. I am not a mean, selfish, unhonest, or hurtful person.

Some things are my business not to disclose, ie, the court proceedings and why foul play is abrupt. My DEEPEST and SINCEREST apologies to anyone that was in harms way or felt hurt or betrayed. Some I coud not control, others were PURE mistakes, ie, Vertefae and I's case. PLEASE, PLEASE, come to me first....I am sympathetic to others and am kind. I have wonderful feedback on eBay and pride myself on customer satisfaction.
Anchors Away was bought from another member on eBay that I buy from on a regular basis. She and I email each other everyday and have a VERY humorous internet friendship. I did NOT steal an auction. Ebay DOES permit what happened. I did not force her to end the auction, nor was it my intention to harm others. Nobody knows mine and that seller's relationship. Yes, she knew the value of her because I told her how much I had sold mine for and she listed hers. Besides that, we have, or had, an internet friendship through business.

Once again, PLEASE, PLEASE come to me with your "issues." I am not a cruel, black hearted person. Please PM me if you have any questions and thank you...

One more thing, Vertefae, this custom is not marked under her hooves. And I did not know that to be your pen name. Sorry again, but she is not marked and I explained the situation as it was an honest mistake...I could not remember your screen name and had erased ALL my messages. I am sorry...

I mark all my girls, it is possible she slipped out though. I do appreciate you sending her back to me. I hope that everything does work for you on ebay.

I'm sorry you were angered and I had no intentions of that, as only you and I know the story. Please, in the future, come to me before starting threads about me....Thanks and sorry.

Please, come to me Vertefae instead of posting about me behind me. I am NOT a known pony flipper. Yes, I buy and resell MLPs. If you sell MLPs or even customs, you too are then considered a "pony flipper." Garage sales are the same thing. Buy items, use them or don't, and then resell. There is NO harm in my buying MLPs for cheap, and then reselling them in my store to make a living to support myself and my 2 girls. I am an honest person and do set out to harm others or disrespect their art. Only you and I know the story and I would greatly appreciate if you could share this with the others so they know I am not that way. nd once again, she is not marked and I can send you the pictures to show that....Sorry again and she is being mailed out tomorrow.

Trulymonica, you claim not to have posted that thread about Anchors? On both boards? What about all the bumps it's gotten from your account, and the updates on the offers you've received? What about the tantrum you threw at the Arena, was that a hacker too? Have you really been so blind that someone could hack your account and you wouldn't notice it? Do you expect us to be?

And what about the atrocious grammar and spelling? It's eerily like your own. I think this is a case of you being called out for your shady actions and deciding to play the hacker card so we'll all forgive you and you can go back to doing your underhanded deals. I'm surprised you didn't claim aspergers/sick child/death.

Hey although I'm not too terribly offended, I really do have aspergers... it's not always an excuse. Just sayin', that might offend people or someone.


Anyway I'm glad the custom is being returned to the one who made it. :)

Oh I know you do, and I don't mean to offend anyone who actually has it, but that particular disease is very often used as a cop-out for bad behavior by people who don't actually have it. Especially when they've been called out for their bad behavior. I didn't mean to offend you, Dialga, and I apologize for doing so. I love your Dialga Pwny, BTW. ;)

Just trying to understand what you're saying here, because your definition of a flipper seems kinda wrong to me...

You buy and then resell ponies to make a living. THAT, to me, is flipping.

I sell ponies too, but the ones I sell are doubles that I have received in lots or at Value Village/flea markets. I do not try to make a profit off them. I sell them for what they are worth on my website, NOT in a store on ebay. I then use that money to buy more ponies that I don't have.

To date I have not sold a custom that someone has made for me. The ONLY reason I would sell a custom is if I were in DIRE need of money. And the first thing I would do is see if the artist would be willing to buy her back from me. (side note: There is no reason why you couldn't have posted a "who made this custom" thread to find the artist.)

I sell ponies to support my pony addiction, not to support my family. Therefore, to me, I am not a flipper.

flipping ponies is one thing- but flipping customs? I know the custom is being returned now,and things are being sorted out,but I just think its common courtesy not to sell on something that was made for you, unless you -really- need the money. To me its like selling a 'best grandma' mug(I've seen these at flea markets,and I always wonder why they're selling something their grandchild probably bought them :() or a painting someone did for your birthday. This is just my opinion though,I'm sure others have different views on the matter.
