Just trying to understand what you're saying here, because your definition of a flipper seems kinda wrong to me...

You buy and then resell ponies to make a living. THAT, to me, is flipping.

I sell ponies too, but the ones I sell are doubles that I have received in lots or at Value Village/flea markets. I do not try to make a profit off them. I sell them for what they are worth on my website, NOT in a store on ebay. I then use that money to buy more ponies that I don't have.

To date I have not sold a custom that someone has made for me. The ONLY reason I would sell a custom is if I were in DIRE need of money. And the first thing I would do is see if the artist would be willing to buy her back from me. (side note: There is no reason why you couldn't have posted a "who made this custom" thread to find the artist.)

I sell ponies to support my pony addiction, not to support my family. Therefore, to me, I am not a flipper.

I agree with EVERYTHING that was posted above. I also sell doubles, but I don't do it all the time. I do a HUGE lot once or twice a year and I make sure they are all nicely cleaned.

I also think that if you really wanted to find the artist, you could have made a post looking for her. That would have saved a LOT of heartache.

ALSO, regarding AA, you claim to know the seller and said that she knew the pony's value. Then WHY would you cheat your FRIEND out of making money for herself? Is it because of your sick daughter? That's what somebody said over at the Arena. That it was for your daughter. Someone also said that you bought her for around $4 or something low like that. That seems kind of odd considering the seller KNEW her value. So is your thread of trying to sell her closed then since you didn't make that post? Just trying to figure it all out.

My daughter is NOT sick! The owner of the custom did NOT make her for my daugher. NOW, I am offended! To put an 8yr. old child in the mix is quite rude and down right WRONG!!! I NEVER said my daughter was sick or had a "disease" of any sort. If you re sell MLPs, whether they are yours, or doubles, or customs, YOU ARE A PONY FLIPPER! I refuse to take slack anymore. Most of the information you all have received is falsified! I did NOT buy AA for $4, it was MUCH more than that and I will NOT disclose that infomation. I have spoken with the seller and she wants this subject DROPPED as much as I do. She wants no part of this nor does she want her screen name in the mix. Yes, she knew the value of AA as I had told her how much I sold mine for. SHE made the desicion all on her own, to sell her to me! She was NOT forced or threatened in any way! I am disgusted by most of your behavior....trying to bring an innocent child into the mix. You may speak of what you will and continue to write hate threads about me....but you WILL keep my daughter and the seller of AA OUT OF IT! If you do not know the whole story, I am sorry and do not feel the need to redeem myself anymore. I ave tried and I have exhausted all efforts to set the record straight. There are others involved in all of this and you do not have the whole story. PLEASE....PLEASE drop it. I have tried sooooo hard to give my side and I still am being attacked. I will not defend myself anymore as I am tired of this all! Thank you to everyone for your insight and feedback...

I think since you are sending vertefae's custom back and she seems happy, all should be well. I hope people don't continue to "bash" you. :)

I did not make the the custom expressly for trulymonica's daughter. I did however trade for her daughter.

Thanks for the info guys and sorry if I upset anyone. I just wanted to know what was going on and needed a few answers. I won't bring this up anymore and I appreciate the responses.

Playfulheart-
No worries you didn't upset me. :)

I think we're all a little confused on the term pony flipper...but anyone who sells doubles, or unwanteds every once in a while is -not- a pony flipper, they are a pony -seller-. The term flipper is reserved for those who buy cheap ponies for the sole purpose of selling them on, from what I've seen.

I'm so glad you decided to do the right thing and return the pony though dear, and you're right,we might not know the whole story- but unfortunately we can only make judgments on what we're told ><

You might want to also tell the original seller of AA, that it wasn't you that put her up for re-sale here on the boards. B/c aren't you claming that someone "hacked" your account and put her up without your knowledge??

That would mean it was someone who knew that you had purchased AA and also knew when she was going to be arriving at your house.......

And Skeen brought up some good points about "that person" also bumping the threads so many times.....

So obviously this person has / had a lot of info about you and maybe even the original seller, that could mean serious consequences for that "person" if someone was truely "hacking" your account so often.
