ok I have 2 new ideas.
I'm thinking of changing the gradient to the sabres' yellow/gold color. OR being really annoying and having like a double gradient where it starts with the sabres' dark blue, then blends to the yellow, then the base.

Also... I think I might want the tips of the ears to have a yellow gradient...

Personally, if this helps you decide at all, I like the one with the tropical-colored flowers. The flowers stand out more in that one.

the tropical flowers look good on the blue, but the hockey flowers look awesome on the butt. meh! I love them both too much!

I agree with you on that. The flowers look good darker on her rump, and lighter on her hoof, due to the color of the gradient. ^_^

OKAY. I'm trying to solve it. What if... we stayed tropical but made them a little less pastel, a little more bright so that they'd show up well against dark and light backgrounds?
