I had no idea this was coming out! Can't wait!

I heard about it but I didn't believe the rumors!!! Exticed even if i can't play it

I saw the demo at the nyc pop art store :) I could have played but was far too shy to ask...from what I saw it looks amazing. I was really impressed with the effort they put into the graphics too, they looks great.

Heres a demo video for you all: My Little Pony for iPad Preview - 148Apps - YouTube

Shows more gameplay than the promo video :)

I've known for quite awhile, but then, I read EQD almost daily. it'll be fun!

I hope it can be played on Ipod Touch....:)

I hope it can be played on Ipod Touch....:)

That would be plain stupid marketing if it can't, considering parents are probably more apt to buy their kids iPods than iPads. I'm hoping for this too, I'm actually posting from my iPod right now lol

I'd love to play this, but I's also love to play some of the G3 and older games, as well! *sigh*, the cost of entering the fandom late! :nodno:

Hey everyone!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have tried (okay, played for hours already...) the new game on my iPad and it is FANTASTIC!!

I'm already at level 14 after just a couple hours of playing. So far I've not found a single glitch or problem with the game. It is free, with the option of purchasing extra gems and coins to use to buy things. You can, however, earn gems and coins in game so with some extra patience no purchase is necessary. The optional purchasing seems to be reasonably priced as well, with prices starting at $1.99 and going up to a whopping $99.99

According to My Little Pony on facebook, this game will be released for android soon so there is hope for you without Apple products:
"Android users, we’re coming to Google Play soon, too!"

Also, here is what the iTunes store had to say about what devices play this game:

"Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5."

Things I love about it:

-All the voices seem to be the actual show actors (or really great impersonations!!)
-Great animations and sound quality
-the mini games are really cute and easy to play, but are loads of fun
-prices for the in-game shop are reasonable and don't take forever to save up for
-hidden surprises for you to find like in trees and under boxes ;)
-no timed tasks that make it hard to play while you're on-the-go
-hello... it's FREE!! Go get it now!! :D

Things I don't like about it:

-it follows the style of most "FarmVille" kind of games (collect food, complete tasks, visit neighbors) which can get boring over time
-I'm not sure what where the story/game-play will go once you defeat Nightmare Moon AKA seems kind of closed off story-wise unless the branch off to Queen Chrysalis

Also, for the next 3 days the in-game shop is having a sale for 60% off. If you're one for spending actual money on these games, now would be a good time to get some extra coins and gems to buy everything while it's super cheap!!
Edit: The sale seems to have turned off. Not sure why. Perhaps it will be back on later?

Anyways, I highly recommend this game. It's been lots of fun so far!!!

It's out on Android, too, though they don't list the requirements for it. I'm playing it on an HTC Evo Shift 4G, which has okay ram/processor, and I can tell that it's sorta slow, but only when I'm in the main Ponyville area.

It's a really cool game, and I know some people who worked there, so I'm glad that they built this.

I'm just waiting for an angry parent when they find out a kid buys $200 worth of Gems...

ETA: So there's those heart gems, which you can use to buy Zecora, Scootaloo and some other ponies. Does anyone know how to get those?

You can purchase them by clicking the little + symbol next to your gems. You earn them once in a while in the game, too.
