My 10th wedding anniversary gift - update - done for now

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and anniversary wishes.

It has been so fun and lots of work cleaning my whole collection. Me and the hubby have our work spaces in the room and have been working every night organizing and cleaning. We sit there and once and a while one of us will take a toy and say "remember when we found this" and we talk like old folks about memories. Most everything we have has been hunted for, not from Ebay.

The cases were an awesome deal off Craigslist that I found. The person selling was an older gentleman who had his own personal museum that he was auctioning off and had all the cases to sell. I wish I could magically give you all one.
 
Wow, what an awesome story. Congrats on your 10 yrs and on the cases!! So cute that you have your girly toys next to your hubby's boy toys. And cool that you're both collectors.
 
Those cases look like they have some great height to them. Great find.

G i joes, my boyfriend had a lot of that stuff and in fact it is just sitting here in boxes.
 
Updated picture...Finished the cases after a week or so. My husbands looks much more full than mine. He has a larger collection of stuff. I'm just MLP.

OMG! That is so awesome! I would LOVE to have display cases like that! And thats so neat that your hubby has one too!
 
Man, that looks so good, I am so envious! I think that's one of the best ways to display them- looks like you're in a toy store! Happy 10th Anniversary too! I'm just coming up on my 1st, so 10 years is a great accomplishment! :)
