Freedom of the ponies I mean:yippie:

My husband and I both got display cases for our 10th wedding anniversary. He collects GIJoe. They are side by side just like the hubby and me. hah.

So yes, the ponies are getting released from their bins and cleaned of dust. I have been waiting a long time for this. Makes the collecting much more fun I must say.

I will be posting more pictures but first "The Before".

Yes, the little cuties love to help and collecting is a family activity. So much fun.
 
That's fantastic! Its really cool how ponies and gi joe are opposite but come together :D
my friend collects marvel comics and i collect ponies, and we always laugh about that. :D
 
Awwww!!! Another 10 year anniversary!! YAY!!! Major congrats!!! And those displays look awesome! I'd be so excited!

Those are awesome cases! I wish I had something like that for my collection. Congrats on 10 years, too! We just had our 11th in July. It's great that he collects something that you can display together.
 
update on progress

Okay, so what a mess. We both started just going nuts with cleaning and setting up and having so much fun doing it. We need some wall decor so I will have some art projects coming I think. Someday it will be my sons room so I can pony it up with pink wallpaper or anything. Has to stay neutral. There are Joe's in the room. lol. :D Some of my ponies are in the bathroom getting hair done.

On another note... Some of my ponies have gotten marks that used to not be there and they have been in storage bins. I take really good care of them and yet they still get mystery marks and cancer spots. Funny how that works with the breakdown of plastic.

The finished product will be in a few days... or at least somewhat finished. Always a work in progress I think.

That's super awesome! Especially since they used to release pamphlets with ponies on one side and GI Joes on the other. I have some, they make me giggle.

I love the pony and GI's cases!! I bet you had a fab time getting all the ponies out and brushing out their hair and organizing them in the display ... there is something so relaxing about doing that :)

And you're little boy is adorable! he steals the show in that pic ;)
