* MD Pony Meet 2011! * Wrap-up!

Ladies, which of you was looking for the Afghan Sweetie Pup? I can't remember. It was either Darc or Rist. I think. XD

I found a spare for sale online and I'd love to point you that way.

I had so very much fun. I can't wait to see you all either at The Fair or next year.
 
I just got home and it was amazing! I had a great time this year as I did the last two years. I'll be posting pics of he customs on the custom board... prolly tomorrow when I can steal my mom's laptop back. I don't want to use my dad's cruddy computer. I also have many other pics to share. I actually spent more than I thought I was going to, but some of it was on the crafty stuff, so that wasn't too bad. And also, Darcerin! How in the world could you leave your whole overnight bag! We saw it sitting there and was like... wtf...

I just realized I forgot a cupcake tray last year... and this year I forgot to bring home my cupcake tree. :|
I seem to have a problem remembering cupcake things.

I always forget things at her house as well. I left my moms bowl, which I also left last year. :p

Has an awesome time with everyone again & meeting new people as well. :)
Cant wait till next year, but my wallet can.
I got some killer stuff this year & took lots of pictures. (100 of them in total)

Considering the last two weeks I've had, I'm surprised I didn't leave my fool head there. Please don't think I'm that dense. I was exhausted when I got there Friday night, and I was exhausted when I left Saturday evening. Friday night's sleep was the best rest I'd had in two weeks and I STILL found when I got into bed that I couldn't sleep!

The door had been closed (and I believe I saw them lock it?) after the workers came in to remove the game machines and it didn't even occur to me at the time that my stuff was in there. That was about 1 p.m. and by 6:30 I was so tired I was lucky I remembered my purse.

Also, if you find the Filene's bag under the pinball machine in the living room where the rest of the group crashed, that's mine as well, again, left unintentionally.

I'll send Jewel a list of what I think I left there. But the cell phone is the most important thing at the moment. (I can't believe I left it!!!!) As long as she found that, we're good.

Thanks Steves. It's just been sort of chaotic - I was running the house while my mom was away, and then rushing to clean ponies, I wasn't getting to bed before 1:30!!

The good news out of all of this I THINK I"M GOING TO THE PONY FAIR!!!!

My mom was very encouraging about me going, so I think I'm going to do it. Anyone need a roomie?

Have to square away date details with the boss, but I'm crossing my fingers that it shouldn't be an issue! :D
 
Ivy mentioned that she was going to try and get a fourth (its me her and Lunar_Scythe). Drop her a line, she got a great deal.

Then we can TOTALLY do each others nails (no, really, in my case) and hair and talk about boys! XD

Sunday flight delay of four and a half hours - NOT FUN AT ALL

You DID however remember to take the tiny wrench for the cupcake tree so that we couldn't get the cupcake tree apart.
So...

And I will read the rest of the thread tomorrow, because I am going to go pass out!

First I want to give a big THANK YOU to all who attended, as well as to my wonderfully supportive committee! The meet, at the size it is now, simply would not happen without you. I'm privileged and lucky to have such amazingly helpful and wonderful people to orchestrate this meet with. You have my greatest appreciation and gratitude.

We had a great deal of fortune in the rain holding off nearly all day, and I was so pleased to see so much excitement and fun despite the dreary weather. I guess we can't luck out -every- year, right? ;)

It was a pleasure to meet the newest attendees, and I do hope you'll come back again next year! Thank you for sharing your artistic wares and pony sales with us!

Another huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased raffle tickets to support the cost of the meet. It is truly appreciated given the enormous cost it requires to host every year.

Kar, that's a beautiful picture of Rum Tum Tugger you took! (Just had to say though that I didn't make him. I wish I had! He was made by MrsEmbers over on the Arena, and she is AWESOME!)

I should put up the few pictures I took...
