* MD Pony Meet 2011! * Wrap-up!

Not me, I don't think I even own a swimsuit! And seeing as how it's at least 15 degrees colder up there than it is here I think the water will still be a bit too nippy for my blood XD

::edit:: Well ok, not right NOW it isn't. First rainstorm in 100 days!!! I want to go play in the puddles so bad D:
 
I'm bringing my suit but the weather forecast is not on our side right now :(
 
Slightly freaking out, think I pretty much destroyed my center piece of my custom. Oh well, guess I'll just stick to the pony part of it.. *fumes*

Just got back and only have 2 kitties in traps for spay day. Of course the only female won't get in the trap! *sigh* Atleast the 2 are safe from poisoning tonight.

I'm exhausted and still have pricing to do! *runs off like a frantic woman*

OK ponies are all packed, now I gotta print the list of names and prices... heads up I am bringing brazil and greek nirvana (parasol and minty and peachy) so I can hopefully have a decent haul of ponies to bring back = please please please people be bringing boys with their accessories (so want a barnacle, chief and wigwam finally decked out on my shelf!)

There will be SS Angel, Taffy, Twist and Skippety Do and even a rehaired Mimic :) along with rainbowberry, thistle whistle and coconut cream among others ;-)

BECAUSE Oh man, do I need to mention = I have GINAIAM stuff = PARADISE ESTATES Parts, show stable parts, Fifi's Perm Shoppe parts... man, I have her complete pocket pals outfits !

If you need hard to find merch and hard to find ponies, I may have it!!

Boy I am also so hoping I can find a Red Roses (ok, I'm dreaming, but still gonna have fun!)

oh, speaking of RR - Kar = I so have baits for more muertos ponies and Whippetluv I still need to get you to do up a dragon for Julie = she is STILL talking about your lovely last year entry :)

can't wait to see everyone :)

Oh no! I had to turn and go back home 50 miles into my trip. There's an emergency at home that I had to take care of. I feel it's too late for me to head back toward the meet now. :( It's about 2.5 hours away.
 
Total bummer, Ms T!!! Hope everything is all right....

It was a fine time, as usual! Great to see everyone, and sooooo many ponies...a lot of fantastic crafty stuff, too. (and not enough €$£ whatever.) The customs were FABULOUS!!!

I finally got me a KRR shrunken head pony for the rear view mirror... :allecto: and the paradise estate table legs, a knife, two cups and two combs. All we need now is the other knife, two spoons and two forks! My gosh those things are small. I,ve already paniced twice: "where did the knife go??? AHHHHH!!!"

DB is so happy with all the plushies he purchased, won in raffle and was given :)

This was my first meet ever and I had so much fun! It was great to see some friends from the boards and to make some new ones! I got 3 ponies from my wishlist and one that I thought was on my wishlist but apparently wasn't!
 
I am so sorry I missed the end! So who won what? I want lists I want names! Did I win anything this year (puppy eyes)?
I hope Karen won the custom contest...hers was amazing!

Kar's Rarity was truly amazing!!! I should've taken close-up pics - anyone? Please post = KRR - you back in the city yet? I'm sure alot of folks wanna see :)

Anyhow, good news - hoping not to spoil, but have to say (sorry if stealing thunder) you can see that loveliness at the fair for "hasbro inspired pony" squee! = otherwise I would've so bought that girl = Jess totally voted for her and Julie wanted Kar's big-headed Applebloom - ah well, we have an awesome and growing herd of muertos ponies ... ok, off to take pics of that = will update!
 
UGH I cornered her before results were announced and after most people voted and was like, "DUDE I KNOW THAT IS YOUR RARITY LET ME THROW MONEY AT YOU!" Kar wants to keep her, though. *slobbers*

I had sooooo much fun. Even though I've pretty much ceased collecting and I have put my time into other things besides ponies, it was nice to meet so many new and AWESOME people. lol I bought one pony, hope this doesn't end up being "just one more pony, just one more pony...." lol

Collecting has changed so much since I first started. I was so overwhelmed by what people make and customize these days!

and I can't wait to "re-buy" a certain something from a certain someone who is good at making stuff ;) I love being cryptic!!
