~Holidays Are Coming~

We have a in family Christmas with my sister and bro in-law and family. Then we do do Christmas Eve at my aunts then day at my other aunts. For New Years we just watch the ball drop then a hour later midnight hits where I am and we hug.
 
New Year’s… I let E stay up all night, until 2am. She usually has to wake me up. Yup, I’m old.

Im so excited guys! My boyfriend has been putting lights on my house for Christmas this year! its been almost 10 years since weve had some up cause my dad had a stroke and im too scared to get on a ladder!

But im so excited ♥

ha! i had to look it up! i havnt watched the santa clause in a while! they always have the 3rd one on :rolleyespony: its not my fave one lol

The first was best and Number 2 was surprisingly good. I never watched #3. Doesn't it have Martin short in it as Jack Frost?

Winter Solstice. We do a nature table with our kiddos and I try and read stories and do some crafts that are appropriate. We celebrate Christmas in the mainstream way too but Winter Solstice is what is in alignment with our beliefs.

Oh! I have two favorites! Chocolate Oranges are so, so good, and they only come out for sale during Christmas. Then there's the homemade goodness... My mom makes shortbread cookies dipped in chocolate and minced almonds. They literally melt in your mouth. So good.
 
My favorite thing is peppermint omg I love it to death.
 
My favorite goodies is probably…. Hm..
i don’t think I have a fave I can think of right now, BUT we do make buckeyes only at Christmas ❤️ They are so good
 
Omg guys I thought of something! So around this time Taco Bueno used being out some chicken tortilla soup, and then they discontinued it a few years back :cry: makes me so sad

what is your favorite winter/holiday drink :)?

My boyfriend makes coquito every year and I know it’s a Puerto Rican favorite
