G2 to G1/G3 Swap .:. All done! Thanks for a wonderful swap!

The site I linked to in the first post usually has the color of their gem listed on the info page =) I don't think I'm going to do gems... they're not in other generations and I'm lazy lol.

I'm glad you're having so much fun with this XD I can't wait to see what everyone has made!
 
Oh oh! Question for jazzy! :help: I saw your G2 Moonshadow- super cute! What did you use for the jewels in the eyes? I thought those were a great size. Are they something from Hobby Lobby?

Or to anyone else who is putting in jewels- whatcha using?
 
Oh! I don't know the size! I got them in a baggie at a store called SAS. If you need pink I got a whole baggie of them, I can mail you a few in a letter?

Otherwise for size reference, you know the ones you can get for nail art? They are about double that size. Look like the perfect size to me.

Anyhow, if anyone needs pink ones, let me know! :)
 
Hey, Aadra, do you still have my dremel bits? I found the dremel but not the bits or the carry bag. Maybe Mom has them. Just throught I'd ask!

Anyway, baits prepped, hair found, paint matched. I actually own a few of the ponies on my partner's wishlist so I'll have good references!

Skeen, no, I don't think I have ANYTHING of yours. No computer games, books, tool parts, or ponies... I'm pretty sure! Although, I have already found your Christmas present for 2012! HAHA! I'm on the ball!

I've got one pony almost rehaired and painted. The hubby and I are going to start packing this weekend so things are going to get crazy over here!
 
Aadra, good luck packing. Also, I just found some diamond ones that size too! So if that will work, I can send those to you if you cant find them :)

I've better get back to my swap pony. I need to paint her symbol, eyes & finish her mane rehair.

I just had to transfer over the eye jewels. I like the sparkles. :)
Pain in the butt to cut out the hole for them, but hey, I thought it looked cool.

I have rehaired one fully and a second one partially. I don't need to do any FBR's so that's saving me some time, lol!
 
I'm finished, but may attempt a second one just to see if I like it better! I want it to be PERFECT!!
 
I started rehairing last night only to notice that I must have dropped the head at some point and some paint came off :( Going to fix that tomorrow and reseal.
 
I was going to start working on mine this weekend since I have 3 days off and now I'm sick...

Ugh I hate when stuff like that happens wlyteth! I actually had one where the head was drying on a peg and it decided to fall off and into my brush water. Dramatics ensued... lol
 
I always get sick when it's important to not be sick.

Today I'm feeling better =) Yesterday I was starting to but I was still really tired and my eyes were watering constantly! I think my sinuses were sore too... that's the only reason I can think of that my eyebrows hurt.

I make it a point not to work on stuff that will eventually belong to other people while sick, so don't worry, partner!

Although one of my friends said it sounded like I had the same thing he did and the only way he managed to get rid of it was by infecting his mom.
So... yay passing sickness via the internet? Haha.
If you're sneezing like crazy and then start getting congested, overdose on day/nyquil with a glass of orange juice with each dosage. Worked for me! -breathes in through her nostrils for the first time since Thursday-
 
Your eyebrows hurt? I didn't think that was possible unless you were getting them waxed. :lol:

Yeah I was washing my face and whenever I rubbed up against my eyebrows they were sore! I didn't know they could be sore either XD Being sick does weeeeeird things.

Luckily I seem to be 100% over it now =D Not too shabby, only a 4 or 5 day sickness. Guess nature was just mad at me for gloating about having gone so long without a cold XD
