I looove the way the cabbage patch ponies look! I would get the entire set if I had room for them.

Remco ponies, another of my favorites! And the purple one on the right is a Buddy L, I think.

The one of the right is a Lanard. Poor thing needs to be reflocked. And then there's the blue girl on the left who just loves to outdo all the other ponies in wing size.

Couldn't resist G3 wannabes.

I have absolutely no idea who makes these or where to get them, but I absolutely adore them. If I ever find some of these for sale again, I want an entire army of them. Let the babies conquer the world! They look kind of like yours, Evil Bunny. Coincidence? I think not!

Me? Whu? Nope... Not me!

You can never have enough babies! Way too much fun. I need mountains of babies!

My friend got me a set of Remcos as I said the other day. I think they resemble yours so closely, even the babies.
Those HUGE wings! I think I saw her at the Dollar Store right now ;)
G3 WANNABES! I love those, especially G3.5 wannabes!

I'm so jealous of your fakes, Marble!

omg I was thinking of this thread while I was sifting through my bait box for a g3 bait for a future custom of FFvii Advent Children Kadaj custom pony for @Ology , and I got my fakies out and started snapping pics~

Start this off with my most recent purchase of fakies from local dollar store

Examining them close, the blue one's head is ALREADY splitting apart, and I haven't even opened their packages yet! lol!
Look behind the ears, you can see the gap in the seam of the head mold.

The other year, I purchased some similar g3.5 fakies that were worse, heads aren't removable, glitter flakes off easily and the eyeballs are stickers XD
Appears to be another company brand, as well~

So different brands, very similar and are both clearly g3.5 knock offs... are these improvements upon the older, or... FAKIES OF FAKIES? omg lol

And these, are fakies I purchased from my local Safeway grocery store. They're fakies of the g3 shy pose~
I've kept them stored in my bait box for some years now, and the storage has caused the packaging to break/come loose, lol.

And lastly, some very adorable baby fakies I purchased from a odd store at a mall. They look g3-inspired yet maybe original in pose and/or size.

Glitter ponies so pretty......

Fakies of Fakies... FAKECEPTION.

I got a couple of those 3.5 fakies, and they're very, very thin plastic blown into a mold. They practically fold into themselves if any pressure is applied to them. Might be really hard to paint, they're so delicate.

I think its hilarious how close the fakies look to the real MLP. How do they get away with it and still sell them in regular stores? lol.

Now I must haunt the dollar store more often, after seeing the treasures you have found...

Dollar Tree has the two packs of smaller fakies right now! One package is a Purple and Pink pony, the other is a blue and white. Their hair is sparse, but the mold ain't bad at all.

Ahahaha oh gods yes XD IT'S A PARADOX the newer ones are a bit of an improvement in use of materials, but... back of head's still popping off in package... XD

The first ones with the loose glitter and eyeballs (lawl) are so thin with the plastic like you said~ I took one apart in a way where I'd attempt to customize it some day once I come up with a use for it- I managed to chop its head off and sand off the loose glitter that's on the outside of the pony. <___<
I kept accidentally pressing in the thin plastic of the head and such while sanding it, I remember that~ I have no idea how it will be salvageable to work on, but I know I'll make it happen x___x or maybe melt it down into a vat blue puddle of something... who knows

@Marble Dragon - yeah I always wondered that too~ but suppose there's loopholes where they change the pony enough or something

Some fakies look like exact molds of Hasbro ponies. But the quality, as well as materials with subject matter is different enough I guess

Like how you see mainstream high quality things all over everywhere and they have a cheaper lesser quality of everything everywhere that's flittering in the shadows of the good quality mainstreamed everything sniffing for a quick buck~ "I SEE YOUR FAME, SHOW ME SOME MONEY"

Here is my beloved fakies from my childhood. There hairs are awfully tangled :S and I've got no idea where all of those marks came from :O (They wren't this bad when I stored them long time ago :(). Who have been playing with my ponies?! :D

Do you have a picture?

Those on picture nr 3 are not fakies, those are Lanard Ponies

I would really want one of these Lanard Ponies :)

I have 2 of those fakies in the last picture. I can't find who made them for the life of me. Their eyes creep me out.

Those on picture nr 3 are not fakies, those are Lanard Ponies
Collectors generally group Lanard ponies in with fakies because they do seek to emulate mlp with their bright colors

I don't think Hasbro has copyright on making rainbow-colored toy-horses

I know but I kind of think them as fakies :p To put it simply ;D they are similar to mlp but not mlp, so fakies in my books :D

I though those ponies (in the last picture) were cabbage patch ponies.. Or is it only that big one?

Ofc not :) that's why there is so much "fakies" like cabbage ponies, lanards and etc. With different name an different molds. I can't really say who was first ( it would be fun to know ;)) but when mlp collectors talk about fakies it usually means any pony that is similar (like rainbow colored) as mlp but not copyright owned by Hasbro. It is just generally speaking ;).
