I'm pretty new to the whole pony toy thing, so I'm kind of wondering how I did, I got six for ten and they all seem like they're in decent shape. At any rate, two dollars doesn't seem that bad of price if I find they aren't in the condition I think they are.
All of them have slightly frizzy hair, are a bit dirty, and all save the baby one seem to have spots on them in the same pink color. Which implies the same item bled into them all. I've had toys do this before and the marks faded/washed off, so I'm hoping it'll work the same in this case.
Now for the pictures!
I hadn't seen this girl before buying her, but I thought she was so pretty she motivated me to buy the whole lot solely for her. Dancing Butterflies markings seem to be all intact though she has some of those previously mentioned pink spots on one side of her neck. I also feel like she may stand a little crocked. But I'm not sure.
Goldilocks' ringlets are surprisingly intact, but still frizzy. I'm not sure if theres any way to fix that other than trying to recurl her hair. She has three of said pink spots on her neck. Her symbols also appear to be fine.
This one was slightly harder for me to ID. Sources say Romper has pink hair and photos of other Rompers seem to have light pink hair as well. However, the hair of the one I have does not even seem to have the slightest tint of pink to it, it's pretty stark white. I don't know if it's just faded completely or if this isn't her original hair. A pink spot is also on her neck.
I didn't realize this was Whizzer until I took her out to get a better look, I was pleasantly surprised... However she is the dirtiest of all, with brown marks on her, pink spots, and a small blue spot on her lip. I'm hoping at the very lest the brown marks will come off. Symbols seem fine.
And I also got this girl, who is an unnamed (or is "Christmas baby pony" her name?) that was a Rice Krispy mail-order pony. Shes kinda dirty like the rest, but doesn't have any pink spots. She does have a brown streak on one side of her flank. Symbols seem fine.
