Pony condition/unacceptable flaws:
I have to say I'm a picky collector...I don't like haircuts (any kind of haircut!), cancer, regrind, big marks, head-body colour difference, scratches, pin dot mold, faded symbols etc etc :p Sorry :blush:
I don't mind a couple of small marks though, a tiny symbol rub/scratch or hair that is a bit dry (not much though!). But the mintier the pony the better :D

MLP likes/dislikes:
I don't really collect pony accessories or clothes. Or really small ponies (like ponyville). I just want the regular ponies! Oh, I don't collect babies or sea ponies either, just adults.
I don't like fakies, apart from the Crumpet pose fakie which I love :)
Merchandise is not really for me either, unless it's something I can use, like a nice keychain or a pen or something. Ooh and I want stickers, I can't find them here.

Likes:
I really like tea (especially green tea, it's the healthiest too ;)) and rain :)
I love to read and use my pc & the internet.
I adore earings (have to wear a pair every day!), but mostly silver coloured ones (not gold, I don't like gold!). And they have to be long (I'm not fond of small ones)!
My favourite animals are dolphins, dogs and hamsters (zhu-zhu pets for the win, hehe!).
My favourite scents are lemon and jasmine, but I'm not really into candles (they're nice but I don't really use them).
I also collect postcards from around the world.

Dislikes:
I don't really like ornaments/decorative things, I prefer useful stuff ;)
Anything gold or gold colored.

Candy/snacks:
I really like green tea and milk chocolate (but choc wouldn't probably be a good idea as summer in Greece is pretty hot, so it might melt before I get the chance to eat it!).
Any lemon (or orange) flavoured candy. The cola ones are good too :)
Nothing with mint, banana, peach or coffee (I don't like coffee at all!).
But above all, I like salty snacks, such as crisps! Cheese n Onion is my absolute favourite flavour of all time and we don't really get it here :(

If yes, I'm gonna go ahead and ask if anyone collects fakies and if yes, which ones?

I personally really like the Crumpet pose fakie as she's in my favourite G1 pose and I think she's really pretty :) But only her, I'm not fond of any other fakies, I quite dislike them to be honest :hide:
 
I also agree with you gazzy id rather have a few lovely ponies that just 1. I do like fakies but mainly the ones you said you like the crumpet pose fakies. I have a few of them still. I also like the Remco fakies. Those are about it though.
 
I think I will sit on the sides lines and watch this one, I get too busy in the summers- but I LOVE color swaps!

Just looking through some of the want lists I see lots of ponies in my sales- some not yet photographed!

I don't collect fakies. DG newborns are ok, since I can make little customs from them, but that's about it. I will probably have questions to ask once I am assigned a partner.

Of course it is! You gotta get ponies from somewhere! I won't kill you with shipping and I do ship Internationally, unlike some sellers on e-Bay, plus you don't have to worry about being over bid- although most of my ponies are more common ones! Further more I am open to trading, if you don't have much money to spend.

any customized G3 GREEN pony - prefer electric green like that UK rollerskate pony or recent fair pony = heck take a sparkle green fakie and have fun rainbowing her out :) but really any green pony is cool :)

FLAWS - unacceptable/acceptable
for the "old" ponies = no pin dot mold, major symbol rubs, chew marks, no haircuts to mane or tail, please hopefully, no smoke or other funky smells. Small rubs on NDS or small marks that can be hidden by hair or can’t really see when displayed (writing on the feet) or marks that can be sun-faded I’m fine with. I can paint in eye rubs if everything else is fine… like most folks, I prefer ponies to be in excellent condition, but hey, these are like 30 year old, probably played with toys, so some wear and tear is understandable and I don’t consider myself a picky G1 collector as I have no MIB/MOC.


BIG PLUS if you are able to take a "bait" pony and fix her up = I am fine with that... I myself have done little repairs from swaps and ebay lots like replacing cut tails from donors and stuff. So if you luck out and get a $2buck pony and make her look awesome for display = yay :) My ponyroom collection is totally about creating a rainbow in an otherwise grey office space so please feel free to save some money and use your talents to rework any of my colors ponies as I am not looking to have this simply be about an investment (nice side effect in 50 years but not banking on it...) as I am just now totally bitten by the whole arty side of the my little pony world :)

for the "new" ponies" = the G3’s on the other hand, I am picky about and prefer pristine ponies (but then those girls should be pristine if one is paying $10 in this economy)
except if you have the amazing talent for customs than the only thing I would say is please pack anything delicate really carefully as I have had custom pony parts not travel well, and while crafty, I'm limited in my repairs capability


My birth month is March so that makes me a fishy sign / maybe why I like aquamarine - green/blue = love the jewel G3's ... heck, also really liking how folks have taken the G1 designs and put them onto G3's (I have no idea why hasbro didn't do that starting in 2003 as that actually makes a whole lot more sense to connect what you can clearly see was them trying to get back yet update the originals after that G2 interregnum...)

Love coffee = have a grinder so any kind of whole bean is fine to send
Love pony drawings and sketches = trying to do more art with my girls and always love the thought and time that goes into a hand-made card or any other item
That’s why hand-made/crafted anything is awesome (love all things tie-dyed)
Favorite horse type is an appaloosa
Favorite fantasy critter is the unicorn
Mostly a cool colors kinda gal, but love all the colors of the rainbow in regards to swirls and rainbows, butterflies and fairies J
Have 3 kids – all J’s = Jessica (6) Julianna (4) and Jason (2) so any inclusions are always part of the fun of getting pony mail as they definitely are on the watch with me come time for a mail delivery J
Jessica absolutely loves everything rainbows, Julie loves sea ponies and Jason just loves to take the ponies and run away right now but overall things like lollipops, stickers, anything dollar store is great

I answered rowdy's questionaire and in speaking of jewelry there are some cool ammonite earings off of ebay, or ya know there are craft stores etc. that have little fossils like that (or maybe they're called ammolites, I dunno, but I had mentioned I love fossils and just things that remind us of how much of a blip we are on this planet to remind me not to take life too seriously. Not that I am fishing for anything, please don't read into this as a must get, just trying to add to this thread as much as possible b/c I know I'm still kinda new here and understand it's not like my person can go ask another TP'er = hey, what she like? and all that...

and that's about all I can think of at the moment ;-)

Not many ponies in my sales bin (or box!) though, mostly Greeks and baities. So I'm gonna shop for ponies as well!
