Chatting bout our TP names!

When I first entered MLPTP, in 2004, i called my self Panter5.... Panter is the swedish word for panther... and I simply love big cats..... 5 is because on hotmail panter was already taken and my lucky number is 5 so panter5 it was....
Then when they changed site I changed my name to Canazta.....
Canasta is a card game here in Sweden, probably even in other countries as well.... And we allways play cards in my family..... So I picked my favorit game... Canasta.... and to spice it up a little I changed the s to a z..... Canazta.... so there you have it....
My pony persona is a light blue unicorn with purple/blue hair and a Canasta as her mark.....(six aisses in a cirkle around a joker, which is the seventh card in the canasta...)

I loved the sound of it and have used it ever since. At the same time, he told me about a second Star Wars book with a character named Callista. We agreed right then and there (at 16, mind you) that if we ever had a daughter together, she would be named Callista. She arrived 6 years later. ^_^

The name also fits, though, because I've always considered myself a quiet rebel, normally going against the grain just because that's my personality. I'm also a big time day dreamer.

My username was going to be bunnacious_one like it is everywhere else, but I decided to create a persona while I was lurking and just used the name of the persona. Foxgloves are my favorite flower. Oh, and bunnacious is a word I made up which means 'like or pertaining to bunnies' LOL. I have always been a rabbit fanatic.
 
My user-name is, literally, my name, but translated into one word in Norse. :eek:
 
Man this is an old thread :O I was looking on the first page and saw a member I haven't seen in a good year and though she was back :(

Thought I had replied to this but anywho my name is an item in some video games... but I first heard it on .hack//sign and it just stuck... I actually have a hard time now not referring to myself as Phoenix...

Mine's kinda boring; srd is short of Sarde that was my nickname back at school, and 1981 is the year I was born.

but I like the topic so I'll bite...
well in high school I was pretty much a ba, lol and so much so that my friend just decided that "Beth" wasn't enough so he started calling me "The Beth" and it really stuck. I've got it on personalized jerseys and everything... Seriously. Everyone would just call me The Beth... it was great lol
 
I've had Ivy as my nickname for a very long time.. Since sometime in early 1995. I worked at a summer camp and had to choose a camp name for the summer. I couldn't think of one so Book - suggested I choose a favorite character from a book. I choose Ivy from Piers Anthony's Dragon on a pedestal

I drew up my Ivy pony character during the summer - I collected even them.
When I joined the on-line pony community in '97 I tried a couple of other names but ended up falling back on my Ivy character. I've been Ivy ever since.
 
My story is not really interesting either, but here it is. I was goggling MLP and the TP came up. I decided to register, but had trouble finding a name. I considered some pony names, but decided that instead of having one pony in my name, I would chose Ponyfan because I am a fan of ponies.

I love reading about everyone's names!

When I first joined, I had a non-pony name and ironically enough had only joined to figure out the best way to sell my childhood ponies. Once you all convinced me that I could enjoy them as an adult and my hubby got me started on collecting G3 ponies, I decided to pick a pony name. I thought of Applejack (my first pony), but there were many versions of that already taken.

So I searched the G3 ponies and came up with one that actually suits me and my two sons.

1. Strawberry - I have Strawberry-blonde hair and always liked anything strawberry-related.

2. Reef - Anything ocean related reminds me of my older son that has severe special needs. He is non-verbal so most of the time we have to guess what he likes, but one thing that is obvious is that he loves to swim and we even took him swimming with dolphins when he was 4. We also had his room completely repainted to look like he is in the ocean and also to help hide the medical equipment that isn't fun to look at.

3. Bubbles (in symbol) - my younger son was only 1 when I joined and he loved bubbles at the time!

Plus I love Strawberry Reef's bright red hair... her pose, not so much! ;)

Mine was named because of my tattoo (I love the color of blue and I love roses and always wished there was such a thing). When I was signing up on a Web site (I can't remember what site), I was scrounging for a name, and my boyfriend at the time -- now my husband -- suggested bluerose, but it was taken. So, I added 9978 to the back because it's my birthday. So, I signed up here with that same name.
 
well generally when i sign up for stuff my user name is "kpendragon" due to my psydoname "Katherin Pendragon", but last year, i'd made a joke to my mom that if i got pn her LLB forum to show off my ponys i'd be "LLBPonyGirl" because i was doing mostly Los Lonely Boy themed customs. so when i found the TP to try to get some DG babies, i went with LLBPonyGirl. plus...i'd just moved back home and i didn't want m y relatives i had been living with previously do a search and find me on here ^^; i know that sounds mean but they do not approve of my collecting in anyway shae or frm-they barely approve of me drawing sometimes i think...

but anyways LLBPonyGirl is because i was the girl doing Los Lonely Boy ponys ^^

plus when i took my mom to the Fair in Vegas it was easy to call her "LLBPonyMom" and everyone knew she belonged to me :lol:

StrawberryReef, it was sweet that you found one pony that represented not just you, but your sons too, you found a pre-made persona pony haha

My screen name comes from the Bush song Greedy Fly.. Bush is one of my favorite bands and that's one my favorite songs by them. I was looking for a new screen name when I was listening the song.. the lyrics are.. "I'm screaming daisies from 14 miles away..." I thought it sounded like the singer was introducing himself as someone called Screaming Daisies and thought it sounded like a neat name sooo I took it haha
So the name isn't a tribute to the band.. I just thought it sounded cool haha

but nope i'm all for those texican boys-100%. they luv my artwork of them ^^

mines kinda self explanatory lol.

I was a volunteer firefighter when I joined and didnt know of any fire related pony, until I found out about chief.

Sooo I guess you could say im now a chief lol.

The pic as my avatar is actually a new ladder truck delivered to a friends VFD, that I did an internship at.

oh and 2008 is when I joined the MLPTP (and yes I do own some MLP's, one of which was a custom made by skycakes on here as a birthday gift, so it has a special meaning)
 
mine is kinda silly.

I always wanted to become a singer or a superstar so.. thats how lyricalstar became. lol. I've stuck with it for years... altho I'm no singer or superstar! haha.. I still can dream.
