Chatting bout our TP names!

My name is because my name is storm, and my boyfriend started calling me storm-ness as a joke, and it kinda stuck. I'm stormness everywhere now! my email sig, ebay, msn, everything! The one got put on because stormness was taken somewhere, so subsequent sign-ups kept the one so I'd remember it! I've only started collecting again this year, but I've gotten back up to 85 ponies, so my collection will soon contain all of my old ponies again! I can't wait to find the last of my old childhood friends!
 
When I first joined the arena my name was windwhislter22 but then I decided that since I had a persona I would change my name (I used my persona name when I joined the TP) My persona's name is Wrangler (cuz I am from the south......) and one of my friends always calls me wild so WildWrangler was born ^^
 
My name was based on my favorite MLP and I made it up by putting MLP first then starsong and then fan because I'm a fan of her. My youtube name is MLPStarsong1fan the 1 stands for #1 fan!=)

Mine doesn't have an interesting story behind it at all. When I first joined the old TP I was trying to think of a name to use. I didn't wanna use the SN I used in other places since it wasn't very pony like, and not really kid friendly... only sorta hehe

I thought of my 2 favorite ponies: Peppermint Crunch and Truly, and since I couldn't decide on which one to use, I merged them.
 
When I first started getting online I was trying to identify some ponies I'd gotten from a friend (this was back in 1998 or 1999) and I stumbled across Dream Valley. Back then, DV had a chatroom so I decided to try going in there and seeing if anyone could help me identify a few I hadn't found on the site. Since Teddy was my fav MLP Tales character, "Teddy" was the first username that came to mind when I initially signed in, so that's what I used. The name stuck and I've been Teddy on all the boards and chatrooms ever since.

You can't even imagine how many people have assumed I was a guy through the years though, which is why I finally made myself a female persona a few years back (Teddy-chan, down in my sig). I couldn't part with the name or colors, lol! ;)

Anyway, my name is pretty simple. I'm named after her:

She's my darling...I have had her since she was about 2 months old. She is going to be 10 this August.
 
Well I'm from the UK, and I wanted to have a username that represented that, one that was MLP related, and most importantly, ONE I COULD REMEMBER!:p

So I chose Heavyhooves. Lol, KarRedRoses knew instantly that I was from the UK, I remember that clearly:)

Ah mine is pretty basic, I have a major thing for Minty, she was the pony that got me into collecting.
My nickname has been Clairebear since I was born (my name is obviously Claire). My mum also calls me her My Little Pony when I where my hair in a ponytail :D
 
Oh, cool thread! I'm glad it was resurrected, as I've often wondered where people's cool names come from! :) Mine's pretty self evident. Heh. Now that I've been bitten by the Pony Bug, I wish I'd been more creative with it. But originally, I signed up in order to find some ponies for D-Br's birthday and Christmas and figured it would be clear to the sellers who I was "with", so to speak.

Maybe D-Br, will see this thread and explain *his* name, though... :029:
 
Back when I joined the TP my favourite pony was Paradise and I had a weird obsession with the four elements of fire, water, earth, and air. So, ElementalParadise was born.

ElementalParadise is one of the best screen names I've ever created, and I was only 11 at the time. Guess my creativity has diminished since then, haha.
