Blind Bag Ponies have LANDED in the US! *Updated!*

Bah, I checked the Walmart that my father got some blind bags from and they were all sold out! :<
Oh well, better luck next week I guess.
 
I went to the Wal-Mart near my house and they had just 4 packs left in the box. I got Lily Blossom, Pepperdance, Lemon Hearts and Roseluck. The box was in really good shape and I wanted it, so I took that as well. I ended up heading to the other Wal-Mart a few miles from my house, which is smaller, so I knew there was a chance they never got the blind bags (their toy section is about half the size of the one near my house) but I figured if they did get them, they wouldn't be so picked over. It turned out, that Wal-Mart had them, well, they had numbers 10 through 24. I bought them all, but left the box since they ripped the top part off of it and it didn't look as nice as the one I got. So I missed out on getting Sugar Grape and Minty, but since I did get all three glittery ones, I guess I can't complain. I'm surprised I found them at all, really. We don't always get everything, (for example, we never got FS Fluttershy or Twilight Sparkle) and what we do get, tends to show up way later than it does anywhere else. We still only had wave 1 & 2 until mid December when suddenly they stocked waves 3 & 4.

For some reason I feel like opening them slowly too but my daughter keeps insisting on opening them! She just can't stand the suspense! :)

Wow I got one of the 3 special glittery ponies in one of the packs and... was anyone else expecting, like, the plastic to be translucent with glitter mixed in it, like the old Sparkle Ponies from the 80's? That's what I thought they would be. Instead I get a clear plastic pony covered in glitter that is glued on. o.0 Of course it immediately started coming off on my hands... so I put her up on my display shelf and stopped handling her. Honestly, Hasbro, why do you do some of these things? Was the "slather glue and glitter all over" method cheaper? Probably.

Yesh...I am also disappointed in the glitter ponies. The glitter pretty much falls off no matter how you handle it... =( LAME!
 
Welp, confirmed that they are in central MA now. Looks like they'd sold a few already, though it didn't seem like any of the most desirable ones were gone, so my ongoing theory that there just aren't many FiM fans in my region seems to be holding true so far. Had the cheatsheet on my phone and was able to pick out the TS and RBD sparklies.

And yeah, before reading Dragonflitter's post I was expecting the glitter to be in the plastic. Thanks to the warning I handled them carefully and will probably try clear-coating them to see if that helps.
 
I got Firecracker Burst, Sweetcream Scoops, Fizzypop, Sparkle Pinkie and Rainbow Dash today.:) I thought I was getting Minty, but I got the #s mixed up and ended up with no Minty :(

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. I just went to one walmart and they had the tag on the shelf but no ponies. It was it though, it clearly said MLP kiosk 1.96. I got the sku and called several other Walmarts and I was only able to confirm 2 more in my area had em. so sacramento MLP fans keep eyes peeled.

Yep, toy section. The price label on the shelf says "MLP Kiosk".
One of my local walmarts has had the label for two weeks now but no ponies. UNTIL TODAY! wheeee! I mean, I was shopping for friends so no personal excitement for me, but I managed to get 4 of the 7 on my list so whoo!
 
I've been searching in my area, I even printed out the list but I've come up empty handed.
What areas are they showing up in so far??
 
I just checked the Towson, MD Walmart, looked everywhere in the toy section, baseball card section, and discount section. No ponies, in fact no MLP:FiM toys on the shelves at all aside from the Pinkie Pie babies. Either Towson Walmart does not like ponies or some bornies living here are grabbing everything first.

Any Maryland people having any luck with finding the blind bags?
 
*rolls around* Baaaaah. I have to whine, forgive me. So there are 3 Wal-marts within 30 min drive of my place.

Are the blind bags at the convenient Walmart between my house and my work? Noooo. That one doesn't even have a spot on the shelf where the kiosk box could go, it's all crammed full of other toys on both sides of the Wave 4 MLP's.

Are the blind bags at the other convenient Walmart the next town over in the giant shopping area so I could go shopping all day if I drive out there? Nooooo.

Are the blind bags at the little Walmart in-the-middle-of-nowhere-town? Yeaaaah. :p

I shouldn't complain since some people don't even have them at all yet, but man I don't want to drive all the way out there again this weekend to see if I can complete my collection lol. BUT I WILL. Because I love mah ponehs. <3
 
The Walmart where I got all of my Blind Bag ponies is out. :( I was hoping that I could get Lemon Hearts. A family member checked another Walmart and there was a tag on the shelf, but no box. :(

I checked the three walmarts near me today and still nothing, not even a spot on the shelves for them. Im getting worried seeing as the price tag isnt even on the shelves and im pretty sure the resets have been completed.:ipmimscs:I hope im wrong.
