Blind Bag Ponies have LANDED in the US! *Updated!*

I found a whole bunch of them at the Queensbury Walmart but my sister would only buy me one bag. A blue earthpony with a cupcake symbol.

They had like 5 boxes of them on the shelf

I wish I would have known about the 10% off. But I got the Box today and opened the last three - they are my faves - wondering if I should seal them so they don't loose all their pretty glitter!

One TRU in central MA finally has blind bags. The display box was picked through and the most desirable ones already gone, so either some lucky buyers just happened to get the best ones, or there are more than just casual whim buyers near that store. Somewhat interesting since the WM which got them in first was the opposite, with a few random ones gone and all the prized ones still left for me to snag; between that and stock generally seeming to drag at all stores, I was becoming convinced I was the only one in my area specifically hunting down MLP.

But I got Lily Blossom, which was the one I was after anyway.
 
My Walmart finally got in a new shipment and must have just put it out because there wasn't any missing from the case! I bought the ones I needed and left with 21 of the 24. My husband and the cashier both thought I was a bit nuts, but now I have all of them and I'm so happy!
 
I just got my box from Hasbro today so I laid them all out and *yay* they're all accounted for! This saved me a bunch of gas *and aspirin*.:yay:

Silver Snail has them at $3.99 each (not much left, he only got in two boxes and I bought just over a box and a bit!) LOL
BUT THEY ARE HERE!!

That means we will soon get them at TRU and WallyMart soon!!! SQUEEE!!!

My Toys R Us FINALLY got them last week! I managed to get 6 Of them.
When I went back yesterday for more, they were gone!
 
Just came to say I found them here in Utah!! I only got 1 bag at walmart today.

When I opened it There was... Minty!! My fav!! Yay!
 
None of my Walmarts have had the blind bags, but I discovered today my Toys R Us has two boxes of them! (This Toys R Us is in Hoover, Alabama, in case any of you live in Alabama.)

Saw them in Wal mart today. The boxes looked like they hadn't been opened for very long. They were right in the MLP section. I was so surprised to see them! Got me a couple and was happy with my purchases.
 
im not sure if this is news but i found a case of the kiosk ponies in Walmart in Seattle...now they dont have the code numbers near the top as these have 6-8 digits near the bottom and on top....is this new?

If you just ignore the first, third, and fifth digit, the code is the same as before.
 
Went to ToysR'Us to get the rest of my Wave 1 Ponies! I had gone to Wal-Mart before for some, but someone had opened ALL of the bags..so it wasn't as fun.

Thanks to this thread I was able to collect them AND get the correct ponies to finish my set!


While I was there at ToysR'Us, I noticed a 12-pack of ponies in the store that were like the ponies in the blind bags. This set comes with the 6 mane ponies as well as 6 special edition ponies not found in the bags. (Gardenia Glow, Sweetsong, Skywishes, Peachy Pie, Coconut Cream & Beachberry)

The set is called 'Pony Collection Set' and is exclusive to ToysR'Us.
UPC: 6-53569-67895-3


What is the same/different in this set?

The 6 mane ponies are the EXACT same as in the bags, but the collector cards are slightly different. They show a different background on the front, and the back of the card is a lighter color, but they say the exact same info as the other cards. For the cards, the 6 mane are numbered the same as the other set. The new ponies are numbered 7 to 12 (for this set) even though those numbers are already taken.

I am so psyched to be able to post this to help out Pony Collectors here! (I'm trying to get pictures up soon! I registerd here just so I could post this!!)

The Mane 6 are exactly the same (in number and figurine).
The new ponies: 07 - Coconut Cream, 08 - Sweetsong, 09 - Skywishes, 10 - Gardenia Glow, 11 - Beachberry, 12 - Peachy Pie

I just got back form TRU and thank goodness for internet capable phones cuz the blind bags they had had the new code numbers on them:shock:. So I came here and as usual the board saved the day:clap:. Cant say im happy about the price increase on these bags but at least they were on sale.

There was a price increase??
I must have missed that I'll have to look at my receipt.
I managed to grab the rest of a box yesterday at buy one get one. I was really surprised they were still there because everything else was picked clean.
