anthro art tutorial?

I'd definitely try to take a life drawing class where there are access to real live nude models. I studied scientific/medical illustration and we were required to take the life drawing class at least 3 times. And practice, practice, practice. The human form is one of the most difficult things to get right and you can't fudge on it.

Also try drawing upside down...no kidding it forces you to look at the figure as an object and not a figure. Looking at upside down can also help identify the areas that don't quite look right. (Just my 2 cents)

This is my type of anthro as you can see it has a more humanized shape with the feet, face and ears made to look more animal than human. This is what most people think of when they think anthro. I would also sugest you look into Deviant Art. There are tones of great Anthro artis on there as well as othere forms art so you have a lot to study and check out. http://www.deviantart.com/

This is a rough inking of a Anthro Pony I'm doing for a friend. Her name is DarkLolly (a play on HIM's new CD Dark Light)

i've drawn several pieces in different styles since i started this topic, if i can get my digicam to take decent pics i'll post them! ...or link to them, since they're all nudes... >.>

Nudes are always fasinating to work with. I adore the human body (but not the face) and it's fun. It should be fun to see the different pictures you have done!

I wanna see em, Diet! I love anthro stuff.
