Amaya the Kirin Custom

*DIES* I love kirins. In fact, I have a kirin tattoo based on one of Whippetluv's drawings. I want to steal that custom!

Proof that sometimes taking a step back from a project can be the best thing for it. Great job! :)

princessluna11706 - Aah thanks sweety.

josiekat - Absolutely, I know what you mean. I always get to a point in my personal artwork where I get tired of it and need a breather, and sometimes it does wonders.

SwiftStar84 - I honestly don't know what I am asking for her either. And yes the Lordhas been strated. The pony has been stripped and I'm building up the horns with wire mesh. He'll be done eventually, but I need to order some flatback crystals for his clothes. Oh geeze, and I just noticed your from Cleveburg. Do you happen to be a Brownies fan?

I can't wait to see him. Yes I live in Cleveland. I am not from Cleveland but I live here. And yes I am a Browns fan. One of these days I need to get a ticket to a game and enjoy the game in the Dawg Pound!

Yeah I'm not from Ohio either, my relatives are. I'm actually from Vegas, but it so beautiful out here in Dayton I decided to stay. My immediate family are big Browns nuts, and I'd love to go at least once just for the experience.

Thank you so much Kar Red Roses. I love these metallic paints, and they went on so easily.

OOOOOhh!!! I WANT Her!!! Pm me with how much you're wanting to get so I can start saving my pennies!!! Also, Are you really going to make a male to go with her????
Woo Hoo KIRINS!!!

Gusty1 - Unfortunately I already have a buyer for her. As for the second question, yes I will definitely make a male version.

piper - Thanks so much piper. That means a lot coming from you.

This is so utterly elegant and intricate. The scale work so perfect... the fur effects!! Her horns are brilliant... I love the tones and colors you choose! SUCH a wonder portrayal of an Kirin. You must be a goddess with that apoxy sculpt to have created this... I'm so intimidated by the short drying time o.o The eyes are particularly pleasing and well detailed... I dunno why but I'm digging the style of the nostrils as well. I was sketching out a luck dragon pony the other day and this totally inspires me to take it to a whole new level o.o
GOOD WORK!! Thanks so much for sharing her! I look forward to every pony you create henceforth <3

You have no idea how intimidated I was by the short drying time too. It took a while to get used to it, but when you get the hang of it *faints*. A luck dragon sounds like a terrific idea. Oh and here's a hint for the scales : find something that is the shape you want the scales to be and you can press it into the clay over and over to get uniform size.
