This little girl has been sitting on my customizing table for months. She was first started when I received my shipment of apoxie sculpt. Unfortunately I lost interest in her soon after she was started, and so she was shoved into the background. In spare time between working on commission work and gift customs, I decided to finish her up. Amaya means 'night rain' which I thought was an appropriate name. She's based off a couple of kirin statues I got at a swap meet, with a little of my own tweaking. Her head is still turnable despite her being nearly fully covered in apoxie. She was painted in blue and green metallic paint. As well as the silver areas being actually a black base and then covered in white pearlized paint.

I have been wondering what you have been working on. I have been patiently waiting for your next custom. ;) And Whola! A beauty! :yourock: I just love her DL. I think she is my favorite by all means so far. The color combo is amazing, she reminds me of a piece of jewelry to treasure.
 
Mia - Aww, you're so sweet. I love these metallic paints, they make everything look like jewelry. But, one question for you. What is DL?

satinslipper - I have to say SS, you are the friendliest moderator I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have a a question for you as well that's been nagging me. Is the cat in your avatar a drawing or photo?

SS: That is a drawing, that is so awesome! I have always admired your avatar too. :) And your Kitty is so beautiful!

tealslippers - Thank you, she initially was going to be even more detailed but I thought it would make her way too busy.

satinslipper - That cat is too cute. The coat pattern would look great on a pony.

I love Kiirin!! I learned of the Kirin ages ago. They were fast to become something i embraced with love. You did a great job! I often feel the Kirin is under estimated and appreciated too. It's such a beautiful and unique beast. You did a grate job on her really. All that patience really paid off. The colors are gorgeous as well. I prefer green Kirin but i love red and blue variations. I'd like to see a purple one someday. >_< Awesome job once more. You've totally made a loyal fan out of me. :witch2:

SS Holy cow your avatar is a drawing??? I always thought it was just a funny picture. but it's more then that, it's ART! trey kewl SS. :black_cat:
 
Um....uh...Wow. I don't even want to think what you are asking for her. But where's that Lord of Darkness custom? *taps desk*
 
Lightstorm - Yeah I was vascilating on her color scheme and decided on a cool pallette. However, I was considering doing one as a boy with a more pronounced mane and a different color scheme.

SwiftStar84 - I honestly don't know what I am asking for her either. And yes the Lordhas been strated. The pony has been stripped and I'm building up the horns with wire mesh. He'll be done eventually, but I need to order some flatback crystals for his clothes. Oh geeze, and I just noticed your from Cleveburg. Do you happen to be a Brownies fan?

Amazing, simply amazing. I think you've become one of the customizers I look forward to seeing your work posted on the board! (Besides Woosie of course)
