Back in the late 90's Ember and Cassette used to show up on ebay MOC fairly often, and rarely sold for more than $50. Now a days, she's much harder to find. I've never seen pics of the other books with Cassettes - are you able to post some pics for curious eyes???

wow. Amazing pics of the catalogue! I would have bought that too. The Dishes set in the top corner, I have bits and pieces of that. The fold out set below, Never seen before - me thinks it was never made. I do have the ironing board! The Legs should have two holes at the end of them...

I'm curious for those who collect the G3's - which ponies are you looking for? I'm thinking that at this point everyone has all of the 'easy to find' ponies, so it's just the hard to finds that people are searching for. And that's why G3 prices are so low! (at least one of my guesses) Because...

They've only sold two things in the last two months. If I were the seller, I'd take that as a clue that something I was doing wasn't working. He's like the seller at a Flea Market who has a $10 Peachy, and then complains that sales are bad, and no one is buying anything any more.

People always ask me, how big is your collection? How many ponies do you have? and I always say I stopped counting at 575, and that only includes ponies made before 1993. That way they have no idea just how large my collection is :) So I was thinking the other day, do Blind Bag ponies count...

I'm afraid I don't have a picture - my collection is in Canada and I'm in Barbados. Haven't seen my collection in over a year now.

Nightlight - When I started collecting years and years ago, she turned up and no one knew anything about her. I love her colour and decided I wanted her. I've gotten a Nearly every pony in that set, but still haven't gotten a Nightlight. I guess I just need a pony to want :)

I have a set of Pots and Pans that are My Little Pony, but I don't think they came with the kitchen set. Over the last 20 years collecting only a 4-5 of these Kitchens have come up for sale - and they always sell for a good price. It might be worth heading over to other communities collecting...

If you can tell which ponies they are, are they really blind bags any more?

Thank you! The seller I bought from replied with the weight a few days later - the larger plush was around 8 Kgs I think. The smaller plush with the butterfly backpack weighs considerable less. I was flying back from Australia and need to know if I had to buy extra luggage to bring them home...

I think that there were some Variants, but can't confirm - there was someone selling sets from the Philliphines that I think had one that was different.

Can confirm Jem's Llama, Rama Llama was sold as a mail order product in the later years in Canada. I believe she/he was in the same flier as the pearlized Baby ponies. I've only found one in all my years of searching.

Interesting! I bought most of my collection while I went to university, and the exchange rate was insanely bad :( I also worked full time and went to school full time, and lived as cheap as I could. Oh I miss the days of $400 a month for rent.
