I always think about how if I had enough money, I'd keep adding to my pony collection and eventually move onto collecting other toy lines. But instead, because of my college tuition, I have to rehome everypony. It breaks my heart to give them up but I desperately need to find my girls (and guys) caring homes. I just wish I didn't have to give them up at all. Dumb college tuition... :sadpony:

I sympathize. I sold nearly all my ponies when I got married and moved overseas. The plus side is, you can always buy them again in your own time, once your college education provides you with a good, well-paying job. :)

That's very true, Skeen! Your education can definitely help you earn more later and more money means more Ponies!

Don't hesitate going to the Financial Aid office at your uni and asking what is available for funds to assist you. You'd be amazed at the money you can get in some circumstances. My spouse runs the Institutional Research Department at her college and she's always talking about the new opportunities opening up to help students afford their education. I think the new Achieving the Dream push is helping get funds to people too. Check it out!

You two are so sweet. Thanks so much. You're right, job from education means more money, and more money means more ponies!!!!:satisfied:

I know thats hard. I had to pay for all my college too. I was only able to take a couple of classes at a time because of tuition and books. It took me forever to graduate. Everyone is right, your education is so important, its your tomorrow. So, don't worry. Hugs and good for you for sticking with school.

Everyone is right! your education is very important do don't skimp. I was poorer than poor during college and couldn't even think about ponies but now I have a monthly pony allowance and I'm sure you will too ;) but before you sell the ones you currentky have perhaps go to the financial aid office like evilbunnyfoofoo suggested.

Interesting! I bought most of my collection while I went to university, and the exchange rate was insanely bad :(

I also worked full time and went to school full time, and lived as cheap as I could. Oh I miss the days of $400 a month for rent.

I am sorry I feel your pain... I've been in college forever because I've had to work through most of it. Don't worry. You'll get a good job and get your ponies back:)

Oh gosh, I'm really sorry you have to give up your precious ponies! I can't even imagine what that feels like. :( Like others have already said, the good news is you'll be able to start your collection over again someday. It will be like a new beginning for you. ^^
