What awesome ponies or pony merch did you get this year? you can list EVERYTHING or just your major scores, as i'm gonna.
i got the Wedding Castle with Princess Cadence and Shining Armor and i got Zecora!!
So...
what did ya get?
 
I hope you're prepared for a very long list; I got most of my collection this year!

Blind Bags: 107 figures, only about 10 duplicates! Completed Waves 1, 3, and 4, bought the first TRU pack, and received the Pony Power pack, Cloudsdale and Apple Family sets, and Crystal Rainbow pack for Christmas! In November, I got the Famous Friends set. I also have a number of Wave 5, a couple of Wave 6, and a single Wave 2 :0

Brushables: I bought Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose, and received Sunny Rays, Cherry Berry, Lyra Heartstrings, and Trixie Lulamoon as gifts from my good friend Aryn. Received duplicates of Feathermay, Sunny Rays, Cherry Berry, and Trixie from my mom in care packages and Christmas gifts. Bought the Favorite Friends collection set (Trixie, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, DJ Pon-3, Lemony Gem, Flower Wishes, Nightmare Moon), and by sheer luck found the Carousel Boutique, adding a Walking Pose/Glittertinsel Rarity, and Sweetie Swirl! Bought Glowing Zecora, then received a duplicate for Christmas (my original one is going to a good friend of mine). Received the Royal Friends pack with Walking Pose Twilight Sparkle and the first Playful-size Brushable Celestia. Received the Riding Along Friends with Rarity and Daisy Dreams for Christmas. Also got the Wedding Castle with Cadance and Shining Armor, and their Fashion Style set. Still not done, I got two Sweetsong Glimmerwings with two tinsel Fluttershys, Diamond Rose glimmerwing with a tinsel Pinkie Pie, Daisy Dreams Glimmerwing, Fashion Style Pinkie Pie, and Two Fashion Style SDCC Derpy Hooves! Got Rainbow Dash as a Shine Bright. The White Celestia at TRU was a gift from my dad visiting from New York. Finally, I bought three 2012 McDonalds ponies (Rarity, Two Rainbow Dash, and Lily Blossom), bought six G3 (Cotton Candy I, Lickety Split, Wysteria I, Bubblecup, Jazz Matazz, and Sweet Berry), Two G1s (A nearly perfect Peachy sadly missing her tail, and a Princess Royal Purple that desperately needs help), and a G2 (A Sundance McDonalds figure MiP from 1997). There's also a G3.5 McDonalds pinkie in here, and three G3 McDonalds ponies (Cheerilee 08, Starsong 08, and Daisyjo 05). WHEW

Other Stuff: The three released 11" Plushies of Twilight, Rainbow, and Pinkie! The Funko Vinyl Bubbles/Derpy AND Rainbow Dash (an after Christmas gift I'll receive in 2013 :3 ).

For birthday:
I got Bridle Friends Rarity and Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash camping set.

From boyfriend:
Got Twilight Sparkle, My Little Pony tote bag, and trading cards.

For Christmas:
I got the Royal Ball at Canterlot Castle set (Mane 6 +Spike with tinsel hair, dresses, and crowns), Lyra Heartstrings, the Nightmare Moon gift set (Nightmare Moon, DJ-PON3, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Trixie Lulamoon and two other ponies, all with sparkly symbols), a My Little Pony play tent (Sadly, my cat already broke it), a bunch of trading cards, a blind bag pony, Pinkie Pie's Sweets Shop playset (Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle with accessories), Fluttershy's Nursery Tree playset (Fluttershy with tree, animals, and accessories), My Little Pony: The Movie and Flight To Cloud Castle & Other Stories on DVD, and a My Little Pony mini backpack.

I have only really started collecting ponies over the last 4 months, I have most of the Gen 4 playful ponies and have started on Gen 3 and 1. I now have 78 ponies, 59 of whom are Gen 4. All of them are special to me of course, but my highlights include

Snowcatcher, my first G4 (yeah, I made it to 2012 before I caved and got a G4)

MIB Twinkle Hope (I managed to restrain myself. She's still MIB.)

Soda Float, who reminds me of my Grandpa, because he made me root beer floats when I was little... more of a sentimental grail than for her value.
G4 Favorite Collection with Nightmare Moon
Sky Skimmer, my 1st G2 (though I don't like G2 much... but I gotta have one right?)
Port-O-Bella - as a foodie, I was thrilled when my mom gave me the mushroom pony :D
Anchors Away - for two bucks :D

Overall, it was a good pony year :)

I had a huuuuuuge pony year! My winger herd increased to about 150 as of today. I was able to purchase a bunch of needy Argies to restore. I was literally showered with incredible swap boxes and RAOPKs! I purchased some gorgeous repro and custom wings for my wingless gals (there are a bunch still needing wings).
For my daughter's G4 collection, I scored pretty much all the new released brushables plus FS Cadence + Shining Armor. Right now, we have a pretty rocking pony house!!

Whew! What a wonderful year. I really need to spend more time at the TP, you guys are all just terrific:)

I found a heap of G1 stuff this year second hand, indulged myself in a heap more from ebay and the pony forums, got some for Christmas and even picked myself up a few of the new G4 girls- I'm really happy with the redesign of the line but so far I'm resisting getting them all. Oh, my fiancee's cousin went to the comic con and sent me the SDCC pony!

One of my favorite things this year was a batch of ponies I bought from an incredibly lovely collector here, they ended up arriving for my Birthday. The seller was so sweet and nice so everything I got from her has a special place in my collection. This picture doesn't do the ponies justice, they are so much nicer in person. :)

-One of my professors gave me baby Glory and Princess Primrose, as she knew I liked ponies
-The SDCC 2012 pony "Derpy" off of Hasbro Toy Shop
-My first G3s, including Flutterbutter

-Target-exclusive Cadance/Shining Armor set and Crystal Princess Ponies set

And lots of blind bags I dug out of boxes with my friends.

This is also the year that I started my site, as well as starting to work at Derpy Hooves News, so this year has been pretty pony for me
 
Ponies for me were a bit hit and miss because for a while I didn't have any money but.
I've got a nice little collection of G4s, I have the Mane 6 sans Twilight, Cherrylee, Trixie, Lyra, Sunny Rays
Found three blindbags, got GITD Rarity, Noteworthy and Rainbowshine (but never found any since)
Got the pack of blindbag ponies that has Rarity, AJ, Twilight, Rainbowdash
Found some good stuff second hand, including Ponybride, Sparkler, G3 Bowtie
Brought a nice G1 Raincurl and a Gusty, Twilight, Movie Firefly

I've been in and out of collecting but right back into it - mainly buying Nirvanas now.

Had the best pony year in a couple of decades. I blame the show, ultimately.

Got shirts, a show stable to restore (and did so with help of all of you), replaced my Baby Bonnet Dance school, added G4's to my ever-growing collection, added more G3's and G1's....and learned how to start restoring and customizing ponies. If I listed everything, I think my list would be as long as a lot of yours were! I may have to take a little bit of inventory here and ultimately share what I got in 2012!

My biggest and most favorite scores were the My Pretty Pony Peachy from the thrift store for four bucks and the Fashion Style Rarity I got a few weeks ago.

And the blind bags... I'm on my third wave collection now. It has caused some kind of wild insanity in me that I cannot explain! LOL....
 
Wow I couldn't even start to think about my ENTIRE year of ponies... I know recently I've gotten quite a few new additions and had a wonderful pony-filled Christmas... lots of blind bag ponies, playful ponies, some G1s and I'm awaiting my first loose argie pony... but a list? Totally incomprehensible!
