I have been needing some serious pony spa therapy lately. DH tore his rotator cuff at work, and will probably need surgery this week. He is in pain, and I am literally doing everything in the house right now. Including helping him while his arm is in a sling (if it is out of the sling he will use it, and he is not supposed to...).
We went to yard sales yesterday and I found a lonely G1 pony in a bag of toys. I asked if I needed to buy the entire bag ($2) for the pony, and she said to just take it. I told her I was a collector, and she said that she had a bunch more in the house she would get later on in the afternoon and to come back.
Bummer!! I want them NOW!!
I told DH and he told the lady that if she brought them out now, that she would really make my day a lot happier. So she went inside and got them.
And this is what we got :
I have no idea who the wings go to. I don't think it is a MLP thing. Some have haircuts and tail rust. I think they qualify anywhere from good to fair condition, less a few that I think are bait.
But they are all getting beautified and I am enjoying my pony spa treatment!! As I am sure the ponies are too! The lady owns a daycare, and I am sure these ponies have seen many a grubby hand in their day!
